MotoGP » Jorge Lorenzo silent after more tyre misery

Pinched from Yahoo Sport :- Team director Massimo Meregalli said the low-grip surface of Sepang had to an extent exacerbated the problem, but added: "We are trying to fit this new tyre to our bike but it's not looking so simple. "At the moment Vale is suffering a bit less in these conditions due to his riding style. "Jorge is having much more difficulties. Jorge is quite often more aggressive on the throttle and this is not helping in these conditions with the tyres

MotoGP » Pedrosa fastest, grits teeth in face of tyre controversy

The topic is Dani, so it occurs to me that he could do better than Marc. Dani started his 'stand it up early and give it some' style, I guess because of his diminutive stature. Marc derives his speed from high lean angle, high corner speed, and save it if you get into trouble. The tyre doesn't lend itself to that style (the reason Jorge is sulking and sucking his thumb). Or maybe Marc will just carry on surprising us all.

MotoGP » ‘F****d!’ - Valentino Rossi ‘surprised’ by tyre decision

How serious is it for Yamaha I wonder. Dani is complaining too, Jorge is sulking, and Rossi is laughing. I doubt that they are worried. We don't know how Marc will fare on them and the 'open' softy probably won't last the distance. I notice that Rossi's last lap (64th) was less than 1 tenth slower than his fastest lap (28th) on the soft tyre.
