MotoGP » Marquez: Rossi will feel 22 again at Mugello!

I've made this point before. Barry got to the top by being a brilliant and brave rider. Part of his armoury too was to 'play' the media, play 'mind games', pinch all the new parts before his team mates, etc. etc. Even cheating occasionally. It amuses me (having watched the emergence of both) that Barry is loved for it, while Rossi is reviled for the very same things. People on here were saying how great it was when Jorge, Casey, and Dani, were loved up in Parc Ferme & on the Podium. Now they are fed up with Marc & Rossi being matey. Whatever we think, whoever we support, whoever we 'hate', at the moment in each team the #1 rider is ahead in the points over the #2 rider.

AussieNSW....How right you are.....Barry did what ever was needed to win, but he also did a hell of a lot to put GP's on the map. He wasn't afraid to kick the IOM TT into touch either. Re the safety issue, the only name worth mentioning is Stoner. Casey tested the kitty litter & run offs for them. :) Yearby23.... Sorry to be picky but......The tyre company put the wall up. And Rossi never wanted a competitive team mate, that is true. I should have put that in my post about Barry, he used to block potential team mates too. (None of the riders do if they are honest, and I'm not sure that the Manufacturers do either, it just takes points off of each other)
