F1 » Force India against F1 engine war

107SS2009:
jesse:
107SS2009: Bob Fernley would not be talking like that if his team was using a FERRARI or a Renault PU.
Obviously!!! Even the Ferrari guys would be quiet if they could use a Mercedes PU
staying/being quite/saying nothing is different then talking, most of the time might be even better.
Answering questions is called politeness. Running around and asking for rules agreed upon to be scrapped because one is not at advantage is something else

F1 » Button thanks fans for support over F1 future

Regarding Button, I feel some people here think rules are there to make them happy. Wake up, a new rule cannot be popped up every time some guys are felling unhappy, especially knowing what motivates some of the people around here. McLaren has no contractual obligation to keep him or even open discussion with him. Is it your comments on crash that will pay his salary? They have a contract till the end of this season and to all indications both parties are honoring their part. And let be honest Button might be a so called nice-guy to some of you folks but if he was that popular McLaren would not be having a whole season without title sponsor full stop! The funny part is that the same people want the engine freeze rule to be scraped. What's going on?

107SS2009: So Mercedes gets it right for the first race of 2014 season, and that means that they deserve to hold that advantage, while not allowing any other teams to close in or even surpass them
Exactly as that's what the rule implies. 1. Note that this is not he first time. Since the limitation on in-season testing, McLaren has turns up each season with a box on 4 wheels and had to play catch up all season relying on the free practice to test new parts. If they had asked each time for that ban to be scrapped, where will we be? 2. Mercedes operated this season at a loss. And it is in their interest not to open another development war. Caterham is racing with broken part because of lack of fund (dixit Kobayashi), Lotus could no paid Raikkonen Last year.... Sauber.... Why did Toyota, Honda, BMW leave in the first place? F1 is a BUSINESS and no business model is built on constantly making loses. That was the reason of the rule and it still stands

F1 » Button thanks fans for support over F1 future

It's frankly amazing how Hamilton success is making people go delusional. They now see him everywhere and go to unimaginable extend to share their wet dreams. That's exactly why not too long ago he was ranked at the fury of some armchair pundit in everything (marketing, motorsport... and now mind-reading) as the most bankable sportsman out there. Most celebrities either generate masses of followers or of haters. Rarely it has been seen haters joining followers and coming in unison to worship. The dream of every marketer... cont...

F1 » Hamilton wins first F1 race in Russia

Zizzu10: Lewis squeeze Nico or made the turning into turn 1 tighter for Nico, Nico should have backed out
Why would he? He got away twice (Monaco + Spa) so he naturally assumed he is on a roll and would do it again. Can anyone tell me why Grosjean was given a penalty while Nico why-is-he-not-letting-through Rosberg got away without even an investigation in Spa?

F1 » ‘Unnecessary’ error costs Rosberg more F1 title ground

ThePaddock1: raju, please will you stop comparing lewis to senna,
Why can't he compare them? What did Senna do that has never been done before or has not been repeated since? I guess some of you guys need a god to worship, so build him a shrine in your homes and worship him there. But in the public sphere have the courtesy to allow others to have a different views. We are not under IS rule.
