F1 » Rosberg escapes penalty, keeps pole

richard, thanks for the suggestion, but so far i'm happy where i am. here4thesun2: I watched the "whole thing " elsewhere. The BBC posted the clip online in an article about the investigation. They and myself deemed it good enough for the case. The underlying issues here is not what the marshalls would have done or did. I don't think any driver should reverse back into the track on the last lap of qualifying while they known there is traffic behind them. If they do they either they did not think enough or have no regard for others safety. And if by their actions others competitors fair chance is ruined, they should apologised before jumping around in ecstasy, not after.

F1 » Rosberg escapes penalty, keeps pole

richard: jesse. when nico went down the escape road, the ... remember lulu being lifted back on to the track a number of years ago? that was a live track, and he was not penalised for it.
richard, you'll have to agree with me that been lifted off the track is not the same as reversing back into the track while traffic is still coming. It's not even important if he got penalised, but with the experience he now got I can't help but question his judgment on this one. I've seen a short footage from the BBC and both commentators don't even seem to expect a yellow flag. So even if the flag had gone up it would have quickly come down if Rosberg had simply parked his car and waited. Moreover his apologies came far too late to mean anything to anyone but himself. Again it baffles me as he said he saw Hamilton thus knew his "mistake" was paid by others.

F1 » Rosberg escapes penalty, keeps pole

Whether Rosberg is penalized or not does not change much. And what matters is not the fact that he went off but how he behaved after going off - He knew traffic was coming and that he will never get enough time for another lap but decided to reserve thus ensuring the yellow flag. - He said he saw Hamilton while reversing, so he knew he ruined his lap but instead of at least apologizing straight away as a true sportsman would do (Vettel apologize in Spain while still in the car for impending Hamilton fast lap in FREE PRACTICE -iirc), he jumped around celebrating as if...

F1 » Rosberg under investigation

Oh!!! as always. free therapy... Rosberg reversed back into the track while aware that traffic was coming. That is enough to get him investigated and the pole taken away. Please stop being childish by telling what fan will do. I guarantee you that they will do jack. Just as some watch for the love of racing or the admiration for the driver other just do for the hate of a driver. So endgame they all stay and FIA rules Haven't you guys noticed that those who complained of the boredom of races since Malaysia keep watching and keep complaining?

F1 » ‘More to come’ from Hamilton

Tomco: Cant understand why anyone likes Hamilton. Such cr.p issues from his big mouth. Doesnt know the meaning of the word modest, and suddenly its not the dominant car, its his skill. What an objectionable little tw.t Seb V totally in a different league as a driver and a person. And Im British by the way.
I don't understand why anyone likes anyone either but If you really think your opinion needs your citizenship/nationality to matter then you simply do not deserve to have one let alone alone publicly expressing it. And talking of tw.t...

F1 » ‘More to come’ from Hamilton

107SS2009: Whatever Zetsche had in mind it was certainly not a vote of confidence in his drivers not rating them the best in F1, and it is not even a guaranty that he rates them 2nd and 3rd best.
They asked him for the BEST not the bests.... More worryingly those at Mercedes in charge of tracking drivers till their mom kitchen to force multi-million contracts down their throat did not do a good job and just came back with the last and the second to the last... Now my little finger is curious to know who is the Commander-in-chief who put those incompetent in charge.... as he/she would certainly not be the BEST at their job... Doesn't the fish rot from the ...?

F1 » ‘More to come’ from Hamilton

107SS2009: Daimler chairman Zetsche says Alonso best driver in F1, which means two things, (1) he doesn’t rate his two drivers higher than 2nd and 3rd best (2) rating his drivers not higher then 2nd and 3rd best only means that their achievements this year is all down to the car his team produced this year.
(3) Given the current circumstances he simply decided not to chose between his drivers. ASAT
