MotoGP » Honda: Marquez can podium on MotoGP debut

Cast your mind back 2 years, Marquez rookie season in Moto2 vs Bradl who had experience in the class, Marquez showed flashes of brilliance, wasn't intimidated by the hard riding of people like Redding, but inconsistency cost him the title. I suspect it will be the same in MotoGP, flashes of brilliance, won't be intimidated by hard riding Rossi/Crutchlow types. Bradl has a years experience, and is on a good bike, so he should be a good yardstick to measure Marquez against, well, certainly for the first year anyway.

MotoGP » 'No regrets' for fallen contender Pedrosa

Why are so many people adamant that Marquez will be such a threat to Pedrosa next season? Rookie season in Moto2 was win or bin, hence why Bradl won the championship. Marquez will get there no doubt, and maybe beating Pedrosa by end of 2013, and into 2014. If he beats Bradl in 2013, I'll be impressed, but over a season, I think Pedrosa has had a far stronger team mate in Stoner for the last 2 seasons than he will get with Marquez initially, and certainly hasn't disgraced himself against him. Good luck for 2013 Dani, should be much better chance next year with a weaker team-mate and the probable in-fighting at Yamaha between JLo & Rossi.

MotoGP » PIC: Casey Stoner gets his elbow down

Elbow down is becoming more and more common on track, even on Supersport bikes with treaded tyres, I wonder how long it is before road riders on street bikes get elbow sliders on their leathers similar to knee sliders? Don't think I'll waste my money though, I've got scuffed knee sliders from roundabouts and the occasional corner, but I'm miles away from any elbow down madness. I can foresee groups of riders congregating on good roundabouts filming each other trying in the near future at this rate!
