WSBK » Laverty: I didn’t expect to be so quick!

Yamaha WSBK has had no continuity, all change yet again, following recent trends, I wonder who'll be going to Tech 3 in 2012 and who'll be on the scrapheap? I suspect it'll be Laverty on his way to Tech 3 and Melandri on the scrap heap. I really hope recent Yamaha exiles Sykes on the new ZX10R and Toseland on the constantly improving BMW make a big impact, and more importantly beat the Yamaha riders!

MotoGP » POLL: Should Rossi finish the season?

It's a no brainer, he loves racing, so won't want to miss all five, but if he has to miss any, he won't want to be at the last two rounds because that's when either Lorenzo or Pedrosa will be crowned champion. Plus, a 2 month recovery will take him to January if he has the operation after the 3 fly away races, just in time to start testing the Ducati without the need for Yamaha to release him early.

WSBK » Rea runs rings round rivals for fourth win

Hookem, without going into British/Irish politics too deeply, many Northern Irish will fly the Union Jack & Ulster flag and be "British" and "Northern Irish", and others will fly the Irish flag and will be "Irish". As an Englishman, naturally I favour the English riders first, but then other British (Scottish/Welsh/Northern Irish) riders second, I won't be alone in this. Having said that, I support Rae and have already said in another post that I'd have prefered to see him (and Haslam) go to MotoGP before Crutchlow.

MotoGP » Moto2: Scott Redding escapes serious injury

I'm sure if Tomizawa was alive he would be apologising to both Redding & De Angellis for ending their race, just like he apologised to everyone after his oil spill at Jerez. A true sportsman and was a great prospect for the future, will be sadly missed. Redding and De Angellis should be reminded that there was nothing they could have done to avoid him. It's a relief to know that Redding was not seriously injured, we've lost one rising star, a relief to know we haven't lost another.
