MotoGP » Toni Elias back in MotoGP with LCR Honda

Toni is a good rider and yes he did win the Moto2 championship, but we already know what he can (or can't) do in MotoGP. I think he is a MotoGP level rider but with so few seats in MotoGP these days I don't think there is any room for dead wood. Also you can't say he hasn't had enough of a chance. I'm not a JT fan but he got the boot after 2 seasons. Toni has had what? 6/7 seasons, some of them on good bikes(Gresini).

MotoGP » Moto2: Toni Elias 'finally' a world champion!

Congratulations Toni, awesome riding this year. My advise to Toni is to stay in Moto2. He obviously has a good team and support around him. The bike also seems to suit his riding style. In this category he can win races and possibly future titles. Only go to MotoGP if you get the right support and a 2 year deal that allows you to gel with the bike and team properly. Toni has a tendancy to start getting results at contract time which has been discussed on here many times (and I tend to agree) but people should also remember that Toni has never had 2 consecutive years in the same team. He has always had to start from scratch each year.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Now the moment is arriving...

I think it's plain to see that Jorge is the real deal. Two 250cc titles and a MotoGP title about to happen. I also think that there will be more titles to come. As for his personality, people are being a bit hard on him. Remember he is still very young (how much poise and diplomacy did you posess when you were in your early twenties?). Compare him now to a few years ago and you'll see what I mean.

MotoGP » Edwards help backfires for Ben Spies

Your right it is good to see team mates actually helping each other (unlike some other teams). I think Cal will benifit from this team atmosphere. There have been a few incidents with riders giving/looking for a tow. I think that the WSBK system of superpole is much better for qualifying. One man on track going his hardest for one lap. The quickest man is quickest on there own merits.
