MotoGP » Edwards eyes 'strong weekend' with new front-end

It's a shame I like Colin and his straight forward manner. But I've heard this all before. Colin is a bit like Nicky in the fact that he has always been the number 2 rider at any team he's been with, Sete at Gresini, Vale at Factory Yamaha, James Tech 3 and now Ben Tech 3. I think that teams use him for testing and feedback but don't give him support for race results. What do yous think?

MotoGP » Holiday ideas help Hayden be top Ducati

Nicky is a good guy and a fast rider. Though he has a tough gig. Wherever he goes he is number 2. Take Honda where he had to ride and develop a Dani special, then Ducati where he was number 2 to Casey. Now that he seems to be finding his feet with the Ducati he will have a new team mate in Rossi, he will definately be number 2 in the team again. The diference being that as someone said, Rossi will put a wall up staright away.

MotoGP » Rossi: My condition has improved a lot

Good to see Vale recovering and getting back up to speed, and challenging at the front again. It is great that he was able to get back to racing so soon. Though some of these posts must be by people with short memories. Vale has had somewhat of a charmed career injury wise. He hadn't missed a race up until the crash at Mugello (correct me if I'm wrong). Look back in time and you will see Mick Doohan riding when he could barely walk (after nearly losing his leg), Jorge getting on the podium with 2 broken ankles, Dani in 250's coming back after breaking his ankles. The list goes on and on. There all iron men, or a bit crazy!!! Maybe both.

MotoGP » Smooth start for Pedrosa

Dani will be a force this weekend. He's been riding well of late. Shame about the stack at Laguna, but the pace is there. Hoping for a good battle at the front. I expect that it will be between Jorge and Dani, but having said that Vale is recovering and Casey is finding some of the old form on the ducati. Also you can't overlook Dovi who is quietly improving and getting better and better.

MotoGP » Lorenzo back on track, back on top

It's a shame to see so much slagging off on these forums, though I spose it does show some passion for the sport! Regardless of what anyone says, Jorge will be a worthy world champion. He's been the man to beat all year. Just because Vale had a crash does not devalue this year at all. Racing is a dangerous sport and there will always be someone out of contention because of an injury. Hoping for a good race this weekend.
