F1 » I overreacted with Hamilton – Button

richard: button shows class. whereas it was a racing incident, button went very wide and lulu took a chance inside him. button could not really have gone any wider, and lulu was going faster and couldnt turn any tighter. at least button has accepted that he was part to blame. i am now waiting for a similar comment from the other side
Rich, Lewis acknowledged he was to blame on the podium and acknowledged the error as he went past Button. What more could you expect in terms of getting 'a similar comment from the other side'?

F1 » Hamilton: 'I don't want it easy'

Googolplex: Tomco, You may be right about that, but getting into the right team is 9/10ths of the battle. Lewis's decision to go to Merc was a pretty inspired choice as things worked out, and I distinctly recall many posters saying he'd lost the plot leaving McLaren for Merc.
Googolplex I think the decision to go to Mercedes was made easier by their agreement to pay £20 million pounds a year !
LOL Tomco, 20 mill plus a race winning car plus he gets to keep his shiny trophies.

F1 » Hamilton: 'I don't want it easy'

Ptolemy: Just before Lulu crashed his way past the others he heard a voice in his head... "Once you don't go for a gap, then you are no longer a racing driver..." The problem is he doesn't understand what that means.
Ptolemy, even the famous maker of that comment was known to sometimes stretch its plausible application. Just ask Jackie.
