F1 » Malaysian Grand Prix - FP3 results

I just hope the difference between the Mercs and the rest can be contained, otherwise the race may be a repeat of Melbourne with the Merc (s) sailing away. Good to see Kimi seems to have found his mojo. Richard might be ruing this post after Melbourne- 'rbr has shown that it has close to the speed of the merc, due to its better mechanical grip and aero. if you don't understand that, just wait and see'. I am waiting Richard but I'm not seeing.

F1 » Promoters will walk away over sound ‘disgrace’

From time to time I watch the classic movie Grand Prix with James Garner where you hear the classic note of the 60's GP cars. I loved that deeper throaty growling warble of those 60's F1 cars. If you haven't seen it, it is a must for any F1 diehard fan. The modern scream of F1 is not a pre-requisite, but the sound ever since F1 started in 1950 has always been important. It needs to demand that the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. I will be in Singapore later this year to find out why people are so disappointed.

F1 » Red Bull appeal date set

Sunny and Rob01, Your opinions are strongly held. As I see it you both consider Red Bull's actions in this matter to have been totally misconceived and lacking in any understanding of the fundamental rules that govern F1. However, given that they have been the most successful F1 team of the current decade, surely you might excuse some of us for trying to reason why they might be taking the actions that they are.
