F1 » Hamilton angry over Rosberg error

There are some who say they simply admire the way Lewis drives and ignore all the Hoo Har about what he says and does off the track. The problem with that is you can't ignore his off-track behaviour when he starts impliedly accusing a driver like Nico of being a cheat even after the matter has been fully investigated and the telemetry does not support his claim. It is simply not good enough for the FIA or Mercedes to ignore him, since his behaviour brings F1 and motorsport generally into disrepute and sets an appalling example for young people who place Lewis on a pedestal. It is a bad look for the Mercedes brand if they acquiesce in it.

F1 » Ricciardo: I wasn’t going to just settle for third

Sunny, I think Hip Dog didn't much like your dig that Dan should ask Webber for advice on starting. However, even Hip Dog would have to accept that Dan acknowledged his start was poor and he was the beneficiary of Seb's and Kimi's misfortunes. That said, apart from he start, he drove a pretty flawless race getting that RBR wound up at the end with the fastest lap and crawling all over Lewis's rear wheels.

F1 » ‘More to come’ from Hamilton

The following is not a comment about Lewis but a general observation. I do not accept the proposition that we should just confine ourselves to discussing solely track performance when it comes to F1 drivers and participants. Dishonest, violent, irrational, and generally stupid public behaviour and comments made by drivers are all legitimate matters for discussion whenever they have a tendency to reflect upon the standing and image of the sport. I greatly admire and respect people like Jim Clark, who was first a gentleman and second an F1 driver.
