MotoGP » EXCLUSIVE: Sam Lowes - Q&A

What happened with Corsi really wasn't that exceptional. Things like that happen all the time, it was a racing incident - move on. As for how he expresses himself, I like it, it makes a refreshing change from the 'I'm 'appy' interview or the 'sponsors did a good job, the team did a good job' ones. Heck, I quite often say f*ck myself so don't find it quite as shocking as a lot of the blushing violets posting here seem to. He is showing the will to win that any racer who wants to succeed has to show and with Sam he doesn't try to cover it up. If a move is OK by race direction then you don't have to go through the insincere charade of apologising for something you don't feel sorry about. I'm looking forward to see how far Sam can go.

MotoGP » ‘Over the limit’ Marquez talks Mugello misery

Everyone seems to be criticising MM for being impulsive and over aggressive but as far as I can see he provided most of the action in the race. MotoGP is actually a show and it's great having riders like MM or Simoncelli who are willing to push hard and always try to pass the guy in front. If we just had people like JL and DP who hit their speed and then stroke it to the end of the race MotoGP would become as dull as F1. Bike racing is motorsport where the pilot can make the difference - lets keep it that way.

MotoGP » Crutchlow: We need to regroup

For me Cal is somewhere around the ability of Dovi or Ben Spies, both of whom had the ability to win a GP without rivals crashing out in the dry and were possible members of the aliens club. He's definitely one the world's top riders at the moment and I would argue that he is currently riding better than Dani so if things fall in Cal's favour I think he might still be able to get the factory support he needs to really mount a challenge. He was unlucky how it panned out with the new competitive Duc, but then again we don't know how his negotiations stand with Honda - he may still have made a wise choice. I think he rides with more commitment and aggression than most riders and I also like the fact that he says it more or less how he feels it, I liked that in Casey Stoner too - he's not always 'really 'appy'. Brits should get behind Cal because he is a properly great rider.
