BSB » ‘Better feeling’ as Haga cracks top six

I think that the problem is motivation, Hopper came to BSB to make his name again and was looking beyond it, Haga on the other hand is really at the end of his career and is taking BSB as a step down. He himself admitted that after a crash on the Xerox Ducati, he had got 'The Fear' and I think he can now only ride to safer limits. I hope he proves me wrong though as I am a great Haga fan.

WSBK » Sykes content with ‘productive’ test

As soon as Tom starts coming forwards at the end of the race rather than gradually fading, he will be unstoppable. There's been a huge improvement since last year but he still seems to have tyre management problems. Perhaps he needs to slot in behind a front runner at the beginning of the race rather than trying to run at the front as much as he can from the start? Both Biaggi and Checa make a decent start, run at a good pace and preserve their tyres and then push for the front at the end when it counts.

BSB » Laverty has reached 'turning point' in season

The problem for great riders in BSB is that it is hugely competitive. There are a large number of riders who can win and the bikes are pretty equal. This is great for spectators and makes it one of the best race series, but means that title challengers such as Michael if they are even slightly off the pace can easily end up out of the points. He is however a a super fast rider on probably the best Honda out there so I would expect some more wins, there's no reason why he shouldn't.
