WSBK » WSBK Rider of the Year vote: 9th

I think it's more about how you do when your equipment and team are taken into account. Max can be an absolutely brilliant rider, but given the team he was with he should have done better. His low position is compounded by the number of errors he made (particularly that ride through) and the fact that he has a controversial character. I would have put him higher, but not much.

WSBK » Haslam paces second day at Portimao

Both Leon Haslam and Camier now have team mates who are known to be fast so there can be no hiding or excuses. It almost doesn't matter how fast they are in absolute terms, because if they are faster than their team mates they will always look good. I was a bit worried that Leon Haslam would meet his match in Melandri, but so far he's doing me proud. Now Leon Camier has just got to stay ahead of Hopper.

MotoGP » What's the story? Rossi and Ducati (2)

Regardless if you're a Rossi fan or not, it's vital for the sake of MotoGP that the Ducati becomes competitive. Rossi has been at the centre of a huge amount of racing entertainment over the past few years and he needs to be back there providing us with racing action. His approach of trying to fix the problem may also mean that the other Duc riders can also get stuck in. It doesn't matter how good or fast the bikes in MotoGP are if there is no racing, I currently look forward to BSB far more that the MotoGP Honda podium.

MotoGP » What's the story? Rossi and Ducati (2)

Great article - really interesting. It seems to me that people are missing the fact that the whole grid should be CRT bikes by 2013. If this is the case, that should shuffle the pack and give Rossi all sorts of possibilities. Rossi is an exceptional rider and he still has the will and skill to continue winning. I do get a bit tired of people endlessly trying to say whether Stoner or Rossi are the better rider, they're both brilliant, but in different ways. Stop the endless comparisons already!
