MotoGP » Moto3: Title battle lives on as Oliveira wins, Kent 7th

It's like I said in my comment previously - in bike racing you can go from hero to zero so quickly. A couple of months ago Danny's talking to Pramac about a 2 year deal on a prototype in MotoGP and now suddenly Oliveira is the big news. Proper MotoGP rides (as opposed to a lingering death on a customer Honda) come by so, so rarely and if that offer was genuine he should have taken it before circumstances inevitably tarnished his reputation.

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made me lose the championship

Personally I don't get what the fuss is all about. Racing is entertainment and this kind of thing makes it more entertaining. Sure MM was getting at VR, sure VR ran him out wide - but I doubt he kicked him off the bike. For me it's all part of racing. The real problem is that it's f*cked up the championship race. I thought JL was going to win it anyway but this has made it all but certain. But as for all this losing of respect, name calling and outrage, worse than that happens all the time in bike racing. Personally I like the fact that VR had the b*llocks to actually sort MM out on track and as for MM - don't cry if you lose a game that you started.

MotoGP » Marc VDS confirms Jack Miller

For me Jack has done OK but not particularly well. At the moment I think he's been lucky to be in the position that he is. There are any number of riders, not least of which Zarco, who could probably do better on that prototype Honda. Either way though I like Jack's racing spirit and style so hope that he proves me wrong.

MotoGP » Kent explains reasoning behind Moto2 deal

For me that was a mistake, opportunities to run on a proper bike in MotoGP come up very rarely so should be grasped with both hands when they appear. When you are doing well everybody talks about you but the minute you have a couple of bad races you're yesterday's news. Moto2 is an absolute bear pit and succeeding there is not something you can assume will happen - just look what has happened to A Marquez, Cortese, Simon etc etc If he does succeed then good for him but if I were his manager I would have advised him to go for the Pramac ride.

MotoGP » Hayden hoping to ‘hit it hard, carry some momentum’

WSBK on the Honda?? That is not a move I would recommend, Aprilia maybe but the Honda will just sap his motivation. I think that Nicky's still got some excellent racing in him as long as he's given a bike he can run at the front on. It's vital that he starts fresh in WSBK in a situation to rebuild his confidence. Maybe Kawasaki should field a 3rd bike?
