MotoGP » Italian broadcaster swaps MotoGP for WSBK

Also those saying that riders such as Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa would instantly smoke the WSBK riders if they went there, both Biaggi and Melandri were absolutely top front runners in MotoGP. Admittedly they are doing well in WSBK, but they're not smoking anyone. I would expect the 'aliens' from MotoGP to do well in WSBK, but they might be surprised by the competition.

MotoGP » Italian broadcaster swaps MotoGP for WSBK

People banging on about Rossi and Stoner are missing the elephant in the room namely that there is no passing at the front - that's what makes racing an entertainment and that's what it's there for. The idea that a bike manufacturer needs to race protypes in MotoGP to develop road bikes is just rubbish. This kind of racing can only develop high-end bells and whistles for sports bikes which are becoming increasing irrelevant to road use. Don't manufacters have test tracks? how do Kawasaki or Suzuki develop their road bikes?

MotoGP » Rossi thrilled by WSBK 'brawl', MotoGP 'more tedious'

I think there are a few facts here. - MotoGP isn't really a great show. - Rossi was always part of any action that went on - At the moment for various reasons he's not doing anything useful on the Duc - WSBK (and WSS) is a very exciting series with full grids and plenty of action - Adding Rossi to the WSBK grid would make that series a must see - If that happened MotoGP would have trouble surviving - Most people don't much care about the absolute speed or sophistication of a racing bike, they care about the personalities on them and if that bike allows them to express their ability fully. Personally, I would love to see Rossi in WSBK
