MotoGP » Cal Crutchlow stays at Ducati

YEEEEESS!!!!! TOP NEWS!!! @ Ducatisti0 Yes, I am sure that is EXACTLY what he was thinking the WHOLE TIME!!! Why, pray tell are you so against him? Because he calls the Ducati a Piece of Cr@p (Which it is). Anyone can see this guy is fast. I can't WAIT to see what Gigi can do to that slow, understeering piece of turd... If they sort the bike, next year we will see a very different story from Ducati. GO CAL! GO DOVI! GO CRAZY JOE!

Ducatisti0: Nick636: He is not fast because he refuses to adapt his riding style to the bike as he publicly said.
Why adapt a style to a bike that doesn't work?! Dovi and Iannone have adapted their styles and, OMG, got a fifth, a podium in the wet, and some top sixes... WOW!!!! CHECK THOSE PERCS!!! Cal has also had 2 brake failures and 2 mechanical failures this year, missed a round due to injury and ridden injured. They KNEW the bike would not get sorted this year. People had the same criticism of Cal in his first T3 season, then look, he came good, REAL good.

What you all seem to be forgetting is that the Ducati has not had an all new bike in years. Casey was special, he could get results on it. But, even Rossi didn't get this one sorted as he claimed he would. Gigi was brought in to sort this bike/team out, and I think he has approached this situation very wisely. Spend the first year seeing first hand what the problems are, THEN make major design changes. The more compact engine I think is a good start. I have taken back a lot of criticism about Rossi, but the way they approached the Ducati when he was there was just stupid...
