WSBK » Sykes: Race two would have been ours

I have no problem with team mates fighting it out. Tom also has no issue with it, as in the past he was very supportive of Baz racing well (ie. Brno where he fought it out with Tom and where he won at Silverstone.) What does become a problem though is when you make very hard challenges on your team mate, almost taking him out, which Baz did in both races. I am REALLY pleased to see Baz coming good on pace as I thought he would. The kid is DEFINITELY a future champion! Great recovery from Tom for race 2 and a great weekend for Baz in general. GO TEAM GREEN!

WSBK » Sykes: Race two would have been ours

@ Tetley. Thanks. I have been impressed with Baz pretty much from the get-go in WSBK (though admitting to being sceptical when he got the call-u, as I didn't really know him). I also strongly disagree with a few people's idea that he receives inferior support from KHI. They don't quite realise what a task it is stepping onto the world stage at 19. It takes time to adjust.

WSBK » Stunning Suzuki win for charging Laverty

@profx Just stop, you're digging the hole deeper and deeper. just because guinters takes fewer risks and rides smooth, doesn't mean he doesn't try as hard. There's a reason he finished more races than any other front runners last year. This is also only his second year on a factory bike. As for it being predictable, are you kidding? Who would've seen laverty coming through to win that race? Last year it was a 3 horse race until magny course (that even with guinters only winning one race). The only non-surprise in this last race was sykes. He's never been comfortable here. Also not kawasaki's best track....

MotoGP » Yamaha: 'No meetings with Telefonica'

Just as a side note: People (specially here) complain about Honda throwing way more money at MotoGP and R&D than the other factory efforts. I believe it is mainly due to them being the only factory team still with a long standing, big money title sponsor in Repsol. Ducati had Marlboro until the cigarette sponsorship ban came in. Yamaha had Telefonica and then Fiat. I believe that if these 2 teams had BIG title sponsors and the stupid development ban was lifted, things would be a little different.
