MotoGP » Yamaha: 'No meetings with Telefonica'

Just as a side note: People (specially here) complain about Honda throwing way more money at MotoGP and R&D than the other factory efforts. I believe it is mainly due to them being the only factory team still with a long standing, big money title sponsor in Repsol. Ducati had Marlboro until the cigarette sponsorship ban came in. Yamaha had Telefonica and then Fiat. I believe that if these 2 teams had BIG title sponsors and the stupid development ban was lifted, things would be a little different.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Fast lap wasn't our priority

@ Valentinokee46 Are you joking? The guy is a double world champ. Yes, he would've probably liked a faster single lap time, but there is another test here in a few weeks. There is no point pushing for the lap if he's not comfortable now. I will admit that Rossi has impressed and made me swallow some criticism, BUT, I will still put my head on the block and say JLO will finish ahead of Vale again this year.

MotoGP » Crutchlow happy with 'improving' GP14

@ Lastofthelatebreakers Don't forget, Dovi and Iannone have been on Ducati's for a full year already. Every rider who has made the switch has commented on just HOW different the Ducati is to ride than anything else... I think that with time he'll get more comfortable with pushing the bike the way it needs to be pushed, he also has a more agro style than Dovi. I also think Gigi is the man to have there. Hopefully they find some engine mount solutions and fix some issues. I am no Ducati fan, but I am a big Cal / Dovi and Crazy Joe fan. Besides, who DOESN'T like an underdog?

MotoGP » Dall’Igna talks Ducati Factory/Open dilemma

@ Paddles And then? You have WSBK... Why should they ban pneumatic valves? It makes no sense at all. Again... MotoGP - PROTOTYPE! Meaning new technology, pushing the technological barrier to it's breaking point. Not to be confused with, slower, as cheap as we can make it so that every Tom, Richard and Stanley can enter and run around at an OK-IN-RELATION-TO-THE-OTHERS' pace. MotoGP should be a class that encourages manufacturers to test NEW ideas that make bikes faster, handle better, work in more intelligent ways...

MotoGP » Sepang MotoGP test times - Thursday (Final)

Very surprised by Rossi I will admit. Yhough, come race 1, only a fool would think that JLO wouldn't have ironed out the creases. Marquez, what a stellar talent this kid is. Imagine, him and Stoner on the same team, there would be very little chance for other manufacturers to get wins. Espargaro is also super. A sub 2min lap on an open bike... Wow. The bike is good, but with standard ecu. Smith is right where I expected... I don't think the kid is as good as so many seem tp think. The Honda open is super disappointing. Would love to see what Redding could do on the prototype or a Yam...
