WSBK » Laverty: I think we've surprised people

@ Joeski I (personally) believe your argument is both valid and slightly incorrect. I know it's gonna sound hypercritical, (with me saying Tom isn't getting a larger slice of the Kawasaki pie), but at Yamaha, the entire team was focussed around Spies. He got to practically hand pic his own crew. Tom, not. His crew barely spoke English, and in official interviews Tom has shared some insight where his feedback was basically ignored and told, "you run what Ben runs". In the first 2 years at Kwak, the bike (old model) was terrible. Point and case. As for Baz, people seem to forget he's only 19. So I agree that we will see some serious pace from him this year. He is just getting better and better. I think he will finish top 4 this year IF Kawasaki show the same pace. He will beat Rea and Laverty.

WSBK » Rookie Lowes signs off on top at Portimao

@ Prof The Honda has not been the greatest WSS bike in the last two years (since Laverty Left). And Sam's qualifying pace in 2012 was still insane. Last year he showed he could convert it to race pace. @ Tomco The R6 may be old, but still running the latest accessories. And I still don't think the Kawasaki was much faster. I think it had the Yam beat in the bends, but just behind on top end. Regardless, Sam was spectacular to watch, beating Kenan on a WSS is an accomplishment no matter who you are or what you ride.
