WSBK » Race pace gap to Ducati concerns Rea

On the subject of Rea's balls, I saw him live at Kyalami, at the top of the hill before Mineshaft, on a Honda in 2010. The way he attacked that off-camber, downhill left was something to truly behold. The guy is a complete maniac when it is called for. Happy to see Chaz up there. Happy to see Tom at least sticking with and pressuring JR. I think we are still in for a cracker of a season!!!!

MotoGP » Mystery power fault for Redding, unhappy with Miller

I feel for Scott, I really do. I have said for ages he is MEGA talent. I still think he's better than Smith. I believe he will be up there in future. As for his comments regarding Jack, yes, Jack was a little over eager, but I think the sport needs guys like him. He's a racer, he wants the BEST result he can possibly get, no matter how slim his chances. Jack was also not the only guy to crash and take someone out.

F1 » Engine change 'slowly destroying F1', says Ecclestone

So inone week I find myself agreeing with the two people i dislike most in this sport... Dammit. Bernie and Lewis. Hami is spot on regarding making the cars harder to drive, less automated / electronic reliant. And dear Bernie is spot on here. EXCEPT, isn't this ALSO the guy that said last week that it doesn't matter what the teams / drivers / fans think (regarding qualifying)? I mean, this is also the guy that wanted artificial rain in certain sectors of a track... GOOD GRIEF!

WSBK » Rea gives full credit to Sykes

TBH, post race, I was very disappointed in the way Rea was moping around. Yes, understandably disappointed, yes, Tom's defending was HARD, NO, it was not illegal, it wasn't even dangerous. BUT, reading his interview on KRT website (from which these quotes were taken) I am actually quite pleased with the way both riders have handled the situation. I am unsure of their relationship but they treated each other with respect both in parc ferme and on the podium and both have given credit post race. Bring on more of this, more hard racing, more respect, more challenge!!!

F1 » Maldonado: F1 doesn't allow contact now

I very seldom agree with Pastor, but this is one of those rare occasions. If you look at the (legendary) pass between Webber and Alonso at Spa, where Alonso knew the position was lost and gave Webber room, that is how racing should work. Often, the driver being passed should acknowledge he has been bested and give room. Also, a little bit of contact should be acceptable in my view (OBVIOUSLY depending on the circumstances), but in the 80's and 90's this was the nrom and what made things so exciting.

MotoGP » Rossi blasts Marquez after MotoGP title defeat

You know, it took me YEARS to swallow my pride, and admit this season that Rossi was truly great, not over the hill, and still a fantastic racer. BUT, I have now officially lost all respect for him. The way he cried and complained after PI was appauling. His actions at Sepang were inexcusable. Biaggi would've been disqualified if he did that. At the end of the day the other riders, as Crutchlow said, are there to race.

MotoGP » Pedrosa: Arm better than expected

Am I the only one who thinks the only reason he is still in the factory team is because of the nationality of both himself and the long time title sponsor? This SHOULD be his last season with this team. He has had MORE than enough time on this bike and should step aside for someone else. Crutchlow is showing just how competitive he can be and I feel he would be great on the Repsol bike.
