WSBK » Sykes: Baz proved a lot of people right at my expense…

@ theeagle & Gatofuji It has nothing to do with being upset about a team mate that beat him. This is EXACTLY what I, and a few others here, have been saying FROM RACE 1 IN PHILLIP ISLAND!!!! Tom, I am sure, has NO ISSUE being beaten, but from the opening race of the season he has been putting VERY sketchy, Melandri-esque passes on his own team mate, and a lot of us have said that he is going to take them both out and hurt Kawasaki's Rider and Manufacturer Title hopes. No points for a double DNF. It was stupid and it's been a long time coming. I like and support both riders (Granted, Sykes a little more), but I am first and foremost a Kawasaki fan..

@ Tetley SPOT ON! Jack Miller god penalty points for EXACTLY that: going for a gap that wasn't there and, though unintentionally, taking two other riders out. Careless racing - penalty. This is a dangerous game these guys play, and they don't need it made MORE dangerous. Again, I REALLY like Baz (and anyone on a green machine). I have said many times he is a future champ in the making. He just needs to start thinking like a more experienced racer. Most riders hate Melandri for his style of passing. It's not exactly fair, it is often dangerous, not to him, but to those around him. I am sure Baz doesn't need that red bow on his tail at this early stage of his career. The fact that he races hard is GREAT! Just make it smart. We have all seen how Laverty and Sykes, Rea and Lowes can carve through a field, it's spectacular to watch, and safe(ish).

F1 » Perez hits back at Smedley

@ Mustafur Yes, he drifts... But it's not a spontaneous movement to cover the line. Massa, if you watch it a agin, DOES make a sudden left move. I was blaming Perez completely but once I read his take on it, I was like, "YEAAAHHH, WHATEVER...". Watched it from his perspective and am a little surprised...

WSBK » Sykes: Baz proved a lot of people right at my expense…

NOTE! After reading Baz's post race interview on Kawasaki Racing EU website, I sympathise a little more, he crashed, taking Tom and Alex out, but, I can still understand how Sykes is a bit sour. It is NOT only Donnington he is referring to. At PI, Baz dived down the inside at Honda Corner more than once, pushing Sykes wide and almost off track. He just needs to reign himself in a little. The kid has so much talent, he is improving so consistently, he just needs to relax. @ AmIEviL Clearly not too clued up on the2009 behind the scenes goings-on....

WSBK » Rea hoping for Sepang MotoGP test advantage

Guys, the only thing slightly dated on the Honda is the engine, which has been beefed up a LITTLE this year. Otherwise, it's running latest spec suspension, HRC, MotoGP derived electronics, and swing arm. The bike needs more grunt, no doubt. But at Imola it proved it is NOT that bad... John McGuiness has proved that newer isn't necessarily better, saying they keep reverting ton2009 setup etc.

WSBK » Melandri heads Aprilia 1-2-3 in FP1

Im just happy to see the tight gap at the top! I think we are going to have GREAT racing this weekend! Nice to see Toni up there and comfortable. I think by qualifying Tom will come out tops and Baz will move ahead of the Ducatis. Just a feeling. The races are going to be epic though. The Ducatis will give them stick on the long flowing corners and drop a little on the straights, expect Tom to come good, either breaking way or coming on strong late on as he has been recently.

WSBK » WSBK leader Sykes set for Sepang bow

Spot on mate. As a LONG time fan, very rewarding to see. I hope we get Yamaha back, I hope BMW change their mind, Buel get up to speed, and Bimota continue the positive trend. I have given up hope of EVER seeing KTM joining or Triumph building a litre bike. A Yam, a NEW Honda, NEW FACTORY BACKED Suzuki, MV, Bimota, Buel, Kawa and Prilla would be quite fun to see

1MoreRound: Wonder if we'll get another Bazooka vs. Tommy Gun battle on race day? Kind of hoping for it! Though I'm guessing the team is probably telling Loris to calm it down just a bit...
Lets hope not, it looks like Loris is the only rider fast and consistent enough to be a real threat for Syke's championship.
Team Green has it sorted, for sure. Looking around, I see Ducati which is improving but still not %100 "there" all the time, no BMW, you have Honda which is ANCIENT and only making moves at certain times, then Suzuki (see entry for Honda, but to an even lesser degree), and then there is Aprilia... Marco can't make it work (good job sacking Laverty!) and Guinters is not showing massive consistency... perhaps they have lost their edge in power now that they can't slap unlimited motors int he things. So yeah, it's a Kawasaki 1-2. Come the "Evo Era" things could get shook up but for now the Ninj
