F1 » Sainz Jr confirms Caterham contact

richard: my first thoughts were the fact is he is a red bull protege, then he could hardly be in realistic contact with caterham. but, sorry commo, i cannot see marko trying to get a third tier level in their academy. if they are, it would seem as if red bull want to take over f1, which in my mind would be a catastrophe. sainz would be far better of concentrating on winning the 3.5 championship, and to see where he goes from there.
True story Richard. Reports say Marko won't succeed with the change of ownership. Marko has his eye on Sainz to take the seat of JEV 2015

F1 » Bottas sees potential FRIC advantage

No Mate different Engines. Volvo's is based around a Yamaha V8 and delivers the goods. Nissan is based around the U.S. version of the Nissan Navara. Not so successful. Tried to re-invent the wheel. Lack of Top End Speed. Politicking to expand on Bore and Stroke Mercedes is AMG with the flat crankshaft. The 3 are OHC. Holden and Ford are pushrod with both sharing a Chevy Block.. Develop 650H.P at the rear wheels Max in line with parity

@Sunny. "And finally, thanks for the chance of civilised discussion, appreciate your effort" Been a pleasure Sunny. Take care. I also hope you have been well Richard. Just a snippet of information. Richard Childress and Roger Penske are about to make a decision as to whether they join our category. I think both will be affirmative. Penske with Ford/Childress with Volvo in conjuction with Lucas Oil

Sunny I don't doubt your ability to make a summation of things. I was only pointing out other peoples opinions together with factual quotes and their take on the matter. Pity you can't find the respective material on the said site. In my opinion it will have a trademark on tyre wear and will take particular Drivers further out of their comfort zone Politics and Sport should never mix but appears to be the done thing in F1 which contravenes the world wide attitude in Motorsport of Cost Reduction
