I agree that Piquet is VERY lucky to keep that seat! I'd like to seee Di Grassi, Senna in F1 next year, they look the best of the up and comers. Unfortunately looks like Buemi will get one of their seats. (Remind me what has he done? Nothing, yet.) and Grosjean will possibly get the Renault seat in '10, i hope some of F1's senior citizens will step aside, Button, Barrichello, Fisi, give it up! No F1 championship for you!

Yeah how about Alonso and Kimi in Ferrari, and Massa out of a job?? That sounds much better to me.

I can understand the FIA's thinking here actually - the manufacturers will leave, leaving only the former privateer teams such as Mclaren, Williams etc. Methinks the FOCA or whatever alliance of manufacturers is called is a bit too powerful for FIA's liking. i.e. more control to the FIA, more % of revenue etc. Hardly good for F1 though? How many privateers are there? McLaren, Williams, maybe Prodrive? Campos? 8 car grid? **** off Max Mosley.

Oh and back on point, I'd love to see Senna and Button, that could be a good line-up!

Matt i'd have to disagree with you there, its not run that well. The fact is they've fiddled with the restrictions so much that LMP2 cars are beating LMP1 cars, nearly driving Audi away. Audi only stayed because they're desperate to raise the profile of performance diesels in the US. As with most series in the US, I think too much is placed on the 'spectacle' and equality between teams, resulting in technically basic spec series'. ('09 AMA SBK fiasco, Toyota leaving IRL etc) The fact is manufacturers who spend their hard earnt cash on a winning car want to see the results they deserve, and if the rules are undermining their investment then why bother??
