F1 » Did Red Bull break resource limits agreement?

Making f1 a spec series is a very bad idea. If all the teams has the same cars, then the team element of f1 will be gone. Thats why despite more competitive races, gp2 or moto 2 does not have the tension and excitement of f1. Plus we wont see great drivers doing well with an weaker car, like senna getting 2nd place at monaco with a toleman or schumacher or kimi winning titles with slower ferraries. The best situation for f1 will be like the serie a, all teams are good enough to fight for points, but there must be well defined big teams.

F1 » Did Red Bull break resource limits agreement?

I just dont get the big fuss about cost cutting and environment friendliness. Teams are spending big money, they are not wasting away real resources. If f1 becomes less profitable, spending will automatically reduce. Yes some big name teams like honda or toyota pulled out, but red bull took over their place and we still had the best f1 season in a decade. And as for the green technology, what percentage of fossil fuel is consumed by motorsport industry? 0.01%? Maybe even lesser. Neither abolishing motorsport nor increasing it 100 fold will have any real impact on environment. Economical road cars willmake the real impact. So hell with budget or pollution! F1 should have the best technology and performance possible.
