MotoGP » Dovizioso welcomes Crutchlow, Hayden caution

I agree with Joeski. Would Stoner have won another championship if he stayed on the Ducati? I don't think so. Stoner was without a doubt the best to ride the red bike but even his winning streak went down from 10 wins in 2007 to 6 in 2008, 4 in 2009 and 3 in 2010. But when he jumped onto the Honda in 2011 he had 10 wins again for the season. All of these riders are great. Even Crutchlow mentioned how he had misjudged the back markers in MotoGP who are still super fast. The Ducati is a rubbish bike but at least it is a factory PAID ride for Crutchlow. Hayden is an exceptional rider and a great brand representative :)

MotoGP » Rossi talks Crutchlow Ducati move

Desh, I would agree that Stoner would win a race or two on the current Ducati. BUT ... He would also see his a** in the gravel more times because that is exactly what was happening with him in his last couple of years on the Ducati. It's NOT only race wins that make you a champion, it's the consistent podiums and the Ducati cannot give those in it's current form. Stoner is fantastic but even Stoner had a bad year in 2012 on the near perfect Honda. The Ducati however is rubbish!! You'd be an idiot to argue that fact :?

WSBK » Melandri: I’m used to such situations…

After the success which Biaggi had at Aprilia it would make sense for them to look at Melandri, especially being Italian himself. I'm not a Kawasaki fan at all but every bike magazine agrees that it is the only Japanese 1000cc able to compete against the BMW and Aprilia. But both Honda and Yamaha are giants and will no doubt be back at the top with competitive bikes again :)
