"Rossi's injury was after the first round, which he won, so how do you make that one out?" Rossi had an "injured shoulder" after round one. It wasn't until round 4 that he suffered a broken leg. It seems as if there is a ton of excuses when it comes to Rossi and his fans... 1. Dani Pedrosa broke his collar bone. However, he attempted to race only a couple races later. He tried to tough it out, but was unable. 2. Ben Spies experienced a hurt ankle. It wasn't until minutes before the race that he decided to withdraw. Some of you can say "Spies and Pedrosa were just not able to tough it out and race, but Rossi was". In my opinion, Lorenzo deserves an award for not crashing out. Casey Stoner would have given Lorenzo a good run if he could stay off the pavement. It's part racing. Getting on the tracks yields potential crash, so if it happens, it shouldn't be used as an excuse.
