BSB » 'Doors aren’t shut' for Irwin’s world championship hopes

Was on here years ago.. For Glenn Irwin now read Alastair Seeley 8 years ago.. Narrow minded team bosses looking for quick fix instead of looking to Ireland.. To keen to sell rides to mediocre Australians at the expense of up and coming homegrown talent.. Seeley has been party to some of the best racing over the last 4 years Stockers with Brogan/Cooper.. Supersport with Wilson then Easton then McConnell and Gowland.. Now it's Irwins turn.. This guy is young and has talent, what he doesn't have is rafts of cash to buy himself a ride.. He epitomises everything that's wrong with this sport we all love.. Will to win is undoubted... He could of rolled over and given his friend Seeley the win in the last sprint race but he didn't.. If he had Seeley would be Supersport Champion now not McConnell.. So honesty, integrity and doing the right thing are part of his make up, maybe team bosses should look at him for those qualities alone??

RR » Guy Martin: Tyco BMW deal stopped me from retiring

Think it's well known MD can be "difficult".. Think it's well known GM hasn't won on the Island.. Would that stop anyone on here from going racing?? I don't think so!!!.. I hope Guy gets the victory he wants and I don't think many will begrudge him it?? I hope MD manages to find a team that "gets him" as Guy put it.. But looking at 2015 Guy won't put the BMW in front of his team mate Seeley at the Northwest unless Seeley comes off or breaksdown.. Which leave the GP and TT for him to focus on.. MD will be competitive at both as will plenty of others.. But here's my prediction Guy Martin will win on the Island on the Stocker next year.. For no other reason than for once he'll be on the best bike.. As for MD he'll find a way to win on something somewhere.. These guys are the opposite end of the spectrum open v closed, marketing dream v marketing nightmare.. Celebrate the difference people, that's what makes this sport great..

RR » TT2014: Karl Harris loses life in Superstock incident

Bradenws: Are we supposed to be shocked by this type of news anymore? It's been "real" every year I've paid attention, and I want to say that's since around 2004. This race kills. The riders must know that by now, and we're not allowed to act like it doesn't anymore. Always sad to see, but my god. Surface streets are not meant for racing, people, so don't act so thunderstruck every time these incidents happen.

BSB » Brands Hatch - Race results (2)

With you there Kulo.. But Supersport Races were fantastic though.. Looking forward to Seeley and Wilson "the sequel".. Not to mention Easton, McConnell, Richards, Gowland, etc etc.. Looks like The Wizzard is already in that boys head though eh?? 2-0 Seeley already.. Wilson makes mistake Seeley beats him.. Seeley makes mistake and still beats him.. Same team Same Bike.. Can't wait for Thruxton..
