BSB » John Hopkins rides first Crescent BSB laps

I don't know what he's in it for!! But it should interesting whatever his motivation!! Would it be enough for a man of his calibre to just win it?? Surely a man so good would have to win it comfortably?? Plenty here go for "Hopper For 2011".. Plenty say not.. I'd like to hear what the pro Hopper camp think would be considered a great season?? Personally I think he's on a hiding to nothing.. If he wins it people will say it was only to be expected.. If he doesn't it's game over for him surely??

BSB » Brookes sets hot pace on Relentless Suzuki

Testing and Qualifying is for show.. Racing is for dough.. The reason for testing is to find things out.. All the times posted were from the teams themselves.. Not the most reliable of sources eh?? Testing will never give you data on finding a gap or a block pass when you need one.. It can't teach you how to bang fairings either.. Come race time .. Come Brookes.. Rea did do a one handed jump at Cadwell.. He didn't however overtake somebody in the air in the race like Brookes did last year.. Absolutely incredible.. I'm all for the Irish but Rea has to be a very close 2nd to Brookes over the mountain I'm afraid.. Credit where it's due..

BSB » WFR: We are here to win!

Andrews, Gowland, Lowes and Richards sounds a pretty strong line up to name just 4.. Certainly as strong as Brogan, Kennaugh, Burns and Johnson if not stronger.. Looking forward to seeing if there's any improvement in lap times.. 10 nil it may of been but the racing that season was far closer than the scoreline suggests.. That's coming from a Seeley fan.. Encouraging thing is the grid is full..

BSB » First outing for Swan Yamaha in Spain

Have both these riders got the riding style to suit the Yamaha?? They are going to have to adapt that's for sure.. Laverty is very smooth carrying a lot of speed into corners which seems to suit the Yamaha on exit.. Hill seems to be more of a point and squirt type rider which doesn't seem to suit.. I've never seen the data and I'm throwing this one open to debate.. Just hope 50cc doesn't turn this into a Hill bashing session..

BSB » Nick Medd back in BSB with BMW

Nobody has used my ID to post nasty comments though.. Every comment has been mine apart from the last one.. I don't get the last post at all.. Maybe the point has gone way over my head?? It may appear you can post nasty comments and use another persond ID.. But not if he signs on and posts as a registered user like I just have..

BSB » Nick Medd back in BSB with BMW

One after the other.. "It's his money, he can do what he likes".. YES WE KNOW HE CAN.. That has never been in doubt..Mr Medd putting money in has got fook all to do with anything.. "Without people like him we wouldn't have bike racing".. What a totally one sided bollox arguement that is!! If it wasn't for the marshalls we wouldn't have bike racing either.. Last time I looked the give their effort and time for nothing.. Where would we be without them?? My opinion is Nick Medd hasn't got the talent to match the investment regardless of who's investing.. So far I haven't had one response to say he has.. So I guess I'm right then??

BSB » Nick Medd back in BSB with BMW

People who earn it get to spend it how they want.. No question in my mind.. Didn't think I'd posted against that in anyway shape or form?? I come from a family that's put money and time into racing since the 1970's.. Small amounts by comparison to Mr Medd admittedly.. So I stand by my post.. Mr Medd doesn't get a bigger say on here coz he has a bigger wallet.. He needs to save that for the paddock.. Support for his son is admirable.. But money will never buy the talent to go with the machinery.. Which without being personal is what most people here are trying to say..
