MotoGP » Big accident takes Casey Stoner out of Suzuka lead

Sparky62: People rewriting history again. When Stoner announced his retirement on the 17th May 2012 he had won 2 of the first 3 races and came 3rd in the other. He announced his retirement when he was thrashing the opposition and looking set for another MotoGP crown. All this garbage about him being scared of Yamaha etc shows ignorance of what happened and when. As for blaming the team when things went wrong. Show me an instance of that happening. Of course Vale never says there is anything wrong with the bike or tyres or anything else. As for his crash record, it is better than Vales!
It's got a bit of the "my dad's tougher than your dad" ring to it

MotoGP » Redding: I lost the chance to prove myself

There is a lot of sh1t getting talked about redding and his performance this season, let's not forget he is in a rookie team for MotoGP and even his crew chief has no experience in this class. The rider can only tell his crew chief what the bike is doing and what areas need improved , it's up to the team to move the set up in the right direction and if they don't have the experience with the bike then that becomes a much harder task. They will have access to data from hrc but all the data in the world doesn't help if you don't know what to do with it. And surely it speaks volumes that even Marquez has reverted to last years chassis as it is better than the current years offering. I believe Scott has to up his game a little but he is getting a lot of unfair criticism and with a more experienced team around him I'm sure the results would be better. And before anybody starts, I'm not really a redding fan but I do think he deserves his place in the championship.

WSBK » de Puniet: Racing isn’t a pleasure right now

shakennstirred:
grantrd: Switching electronics systems after finishing on the podium in Thailand was the dumbest decision ever.............what were they thinking?!?!?!?!?!
no choice really, the other system wasn't getting the updates they needed, now there on the same system as the rest, they just needing time to catch up
Switching package is not the dumb thing, but to do it mid season is ridiculous. There must have been a major bust up between motec and Suzuki for this to happen when it did.

MotoGP » Redding: I lost the chance to prove myself

Realist:
MattyMKO745: I would understand all those sack claims if this would be Scott's second or even third season on the bike and he would be in experienced team... That is not the case, so I really don't understand all this...
Unfortunately it's not up to the fan to dictate business decisions, and MotoGP is a business. If you're not running up to speed [on the terms of those with the power], then you run the risk of losing your seat. First season or 4th season is irrelevant. It doesn't matter that it's his first year on a factory bike. It's Vinales' first season on a factory bike too (in a developing factory team on a developing bike), and he is making Redding look silly.....and don't even try to sell me on anything akin to Vinales having the upper hand. He's green to GP.....and doing well.
MV may be a rookie on a new bike but the team know the bike well and know how to get the best from it.

MotoGP » Marquez unbeaten at Sachsenring since 2009

@ Garcia You're absolutely right there is a difference between a dangerous rider and a hard rider, unfortunately for MM he has 1 leg dangling on either side of the fence, mostly he's a hard rider but you can virtually guarantee he'll pull at least 1 dangerous move in most race weekends. It's almost as if he has some sort of divine right to put his bike wherever he wants on the track (or dirt when cutting corner, eg Laguna seca)whether or not there is somebody already on that specific piece of tarmac. As most racers would tell you, "rubbing is racing" .......... Ramming into others does not fall under the banner of rubbing though.
