MOTOGP » 2012 Ducati MotoGP bike set for track debut

@achoo Yep I think he was in 7th when he lost the rear but only a couple of seconds behind Hayden at the time it happened. This took the pressure off of Hayden and let him run at a lower pace and he therefore didn't push for the win as he otherwise would have. And if Rossi and Hayden were handed a podium each this season then Troy's win was no different, same rules must apply to all!

@troyboy I'm not knocking bayliss, one of the best wsbk riders ever in my opinion but to say he "tamed the ducati beast" is taking it a bit far. He had 33 races on the desmosedici and only managed 4 third places and 1 win, ended the season in 6th place and 14th place and Hayden had the pace to beat him but slowed after Rossi crashed in the race he did win. If that means he "tamed the ducati beast" I stand corrected.
