WSS » Sofuoglu: It's a level playing field in Turkey

@ pcxmac You can quote or reference as many philosophers as you like, it doesn't make your opinion any more valid than mine or anybody else's. Unless you have access to all the technical information for both bikes, the ability to ride at the highest level and track time on both bikes back to back then all you are doing is giving your opinion which is exactly what forums like this are for. There is however no need to call people ignorant or liars etc and given your pop at state education, can I assume that you were privileged enough to be privately educated ? If this is the case, by your own social hierarchy you should know better than most.

WSS » Sofuoglu: It's a level playing field in Turkey

@ pcxmac Give it a rest, we've heard it all before. Lowes' bike is better, rossi's bike is better, everybody's bike is better than whoever you want to win. Why on earth would the commentators try and influence the purchasing activity of joe public when it comes to when or what they should buy ? Clutching at straws or just run out of sensible comments to make...........can't make my mind up. Why can't you just congratulate Lowes for being in the position he is rather than constantly trying to belittle his achievements ?

The guys that say top speed is not relevant are the ones you don't see riding a bike, because they most likely don't have one. Top speed and acceleration are vitally important in racing, doesn't matter if its bikes, cars, horses or athletics etc. if you have an advantage in these areas then the race is yours to lose. Motogp 2007 was a perfect example of this, the ducati did not handle as well as the honda or yamaha but had the power and speed advantage to pass everybody on the straights and then he just took a defensive line in the turns to maintain his advantage, power and speed won ducati the title that year.

@ x3mnc Really, you expect people to watch an interview with "sofu" trying to dig himself out of a hole and playing down the seriousness of what was potentially a very dangerous incident caused by his own inability to control his temper, and then think..... You know what he's not a dangerous rider at all , people just misinterpret him. If he behaved like that at club racing level he would be a regular visitor to the local a+e department and not due to coming off a bike. And it's good to see that you are admitting yamaha don't really care about the supersport class where Kawasaki continue to invest in and support the zx6r in the world championship, Lowes bike is basically the same bike that Crutchlow was on several years ago but you probably knew that given all your acquaintances in the racing world.

@ x3mnc Ten Kate honda have dominated the super sport class since they arrived on the scene in 2001 and it wasn't just down to rider talent, they were always one of if not the fastest and best all round bikes on the grid. And would you believe it, it is now the Kawasaki that is the best bike to be on and Kenan just so happens to be on that now. Nobody denies he is a good rider but it is no coincidence that he wins titles on the best bike.

@ pcxmac You should really watch it again (and again and again), and try taking the blinkers off this time. S.L. takes a slightly wide entry to the corner which draws K.S. into making another stupid dangerous pass (the latest of many), there was absolutely no way he was making that pass cleanly as even if S.L. had seen him and sat the bike up K.S. was going that wide he would still have hit him. Not sure if you are giving your genuine opinion or just Brit bashing having read some of your previous posts.

MotoGP » Yamaha confirms Pol Espargaro in at Tech 3

All the talk of Espargaro coming in and showing Smith how it should be done is utter sh*#e, P.E. having a direct contract with yamaha rather than tech 3 will almost certainly see him get preferential treatment if not a factory spec bike (something that they can't or won't do for C.C. this year despite his proven success) Anybody that thinks Bradley is having a poor debut season needs to look at Elias's return to motogp after winning the moto2 title to see what a poor season looks like.
