WSS » WSS Magny-Cours – Race results

ProfessorX: PJ deserves a lot of credit, but you have to remember Kenan was riding on a busted bike for the last two years, and this year it's almost been able to keep up with the Hondas. The MVs are in a class of their own right now. Don't believe me, just look at how many teams run the zx-6r, and where their riders are in the championship. That bike is old, and Kawasaki don't even make a 600cc supersport (haven't since 2012). 2012 was a good year for Kenan, cause he only had to worry about PTR and Honda, but times have changed realfan, and you should consider being real about how good those MV's and Hondas can be. Don't forget who won last year by a good margin.
Last year he was in a team that ran out of money but Kawasaki have helped out this year and there is nothing wrong with the bike and it is just as fast as the Honda or mv, I've seen it all really..... Kawasaki is 1/2 second down, mv is 11+ hp up on kenan's bike etc. it gets a bit old really.

ProfessorX:
realfan: So much for Ks opening up a 2+ second lead and controlling it from the front. ...
Kenan had a 5+ second advantage before they decided to red flag the race because of water. The second race was so far reduced on laps it wasn't worth risking a tumble in mixed conditions trying to keep up with the faster Honda where setup wasn't such a significant factor. Kenan's front end looked very poor on the brakes too, the front tire change did nothing for him on the second go. Without Kenan, Kawasaki are a distant third in the manufacturers. The same people talking up the Kawasaki in WSS are the same people who talked up the Ducati in MotoGP when Stoner was on it, they have no idea what they are talking about.
Here we go again...... The Honda is faster, the mv is faster, bla bla, bla

Shrieker: realfan time to get real: Who's the next Kawasaki rider on the table ? Who won a race on a Kawasaki besides Kenan ? Honda has always been a good bike and it won a race long before PJ started on a Honda. Not to take anything from him tho, he's a good rider. It's funny you were rooting for Cluzel and when he got injured you started rooting for PJ, lol. Sad.
If other Kawasaki riders got the same level of support as Ks then they would be up there as well, I'm sure I remember PJ being at the pointy end on a Kawasaki that was worse than the one Ks is currently on so I think PJ deserves credit for what he is doing rather than people just claiming their hero was defeated by a faster bike instead of admitting he was beaten by a better rider on the day. And if I started rooting for kenan would you still think it was sad ?............. Thought not.

So much for Ks opening up a 2+ second lead and controlling it from the front. If PJ was on the Honda from the start or even if the Kawasaki he was on had the same level of performance as ks's bike then it would have been a different story. If Cluzel comes back from injury as strong as he was before, then next season will be between him and PJ for the championship.

WSS » Sofuoglu stays top, Cluzel fractures leg

Most of the classes don't seem that competitive due to the fact that there are a limited number of riders that are capable of pushing to the limits at the front and some of them are handicapped by the bike they are on or even the teams ability to get the best from the bike for the rider to exploit. If you honestly believe that riders are held back purely because of their passport then I'd love to hear some of your other conspiracy theories and if Kenan's moto2 team thought he was a podium contender then they would have done everything they could to get him there as at the end of the day it's a business and podiums mean publicity which raises the teams profile and potentially increases revenue from sponsors. As for certain riders having their career paid for, to a degree you're correct, it's called sponsorship and riders have to earn that with the performance on the bike as well as how they act off the bike that's why some riders do better with sponsors than others.

@prof 1st of all I'm not your bud or your bro, 2nd it would appear you've been practicing the age old tradition of story telling too much and have actually started to believe your own fairy tales. If I remember correctly kenan's team mate in moto2 dominique aegerter ended the season 9 or 10 places ahead of him in the championship on the same machinery and kenan only managed 1 podium in 16 races in moto2, he then came running back to wss where he joined the strongest team for 2012. I don't dislike kenan as a racer, even though he does have a habit of being overly aggressive sometimes but what I do dislike is hero worshipping fans who either can't see or won't admit the truth.

WSBK » Yamaha confirms Crescent, Lowes, Guintoli for WSBK

Looks like a good pairing to me, Guintoli is a tried and tested rider who has proven that with a decent bike he can win the championship and Lowes is an up and coming talent who has done well considering the bike is an outdated pos which all the electronics were completely changed after the start of the season. As for the criticism of crescent, if they hadn't been forced into changing the electronics they wouldn't have had nearly as many issues as they have had so I think it's a good move for riders, team and manufacturer.
