WSS » Sepang - Qualifying results

ProfessorX: Good job Kenan ! Jules looking on edge, could be close, it's looking closer than I would have thought. Jules looks to be off the pace, at least in the last session.
So, kenan did a good job but Jules who was only 0.02 seconds behind him looked on edge and off the pace............... My work here is done.

MotoGP » Big accident takes Casey Stoner out of Suzuka lead

Sparky62: People rewriting history again. When Stoner announced his retirement on the 17th May 2012 he had won 2 of the first 3 races and came 3rd in the other. He announced his retirement when he was thrashing the opposition and looking set for another MotoGP crown. All this garbage about him being scared of Yamaha etc shows ignorance of what happened and when. As for blaming the team when things went wrong. Show me an instance of that happening. Of course Vale never says there is anything wrong with the bike or tyres or anything else. As for his crash record, it is better than Vales!
It's got a bit of the "my dad's tougher than your dad" ring to it

MotoGP » Redding ‘more confident’ after time away from paddock

TheBoogieMan: I dont know why Redding would be mentioned in the same sentence as Marquez... I expect another dismal weekend from Scott.. Which afterword will be blamed on his team/crew chief/bike/weight/lack of data/no help from HRC/etc etc,When really it all boils down to Redding not being a top 10 rider in MotoGp... Never was never will be.
I'm not particularly a Reading fan but let's be honest, he proved last year on an open class bike that he deserved to be in the championship and if he was with a more experienced team this year I firmly believe things would be going better for him. And if you look back to moto2 when the level of team experience and machinery was more or less equal you would often find Marquez and Reading battling at the sharp end so why would you not mention them in the same sentence ?

WSS » Jacobsen snatches debut WSS win

ProfessorX: Good race by Honda and MV. I bet PJ is glad hes not on the Kawasaki any more :) More power and a better team, can't ask for too much more than that. Hope Kenan can regroup, his last two races have pretty much ended his championship hopes given the form Honda and MV are on. if PJ wins the next 3 races and Kenan finishes 3rd place he can still win the championship, but something has to turn around cause the momentum is clearly in MV's favor.
If PJ had been on the same spec zx6 as Kenan he most likely wouldn't have switched to Honda , and if it wasn't for Kenan running wide at the 1st corner and then losing more time when he nearly rammed Rolfo off the track on the 1st lap he wouldn't have ruined his tyre catching the leaders up and most likely would have been bashing fairings for the win instead of ending 4th.

MotoGP » Redding ‘more confident’ after time away from paddock

TheBoogieMan: Redding never Battled Marquez in Moto2, he fought for 2nd place and 2nd place was way behind Marc.. Thats the truth, Pol and Andrea are the only two riders that were in Marquezs league once in a blue moon and they are both better riders then Scott.. The results dont lie, SR did ok last season when the CRT bikes were still around to be picked off.. The CRT bikes are gone and Scotts right where he should be 11th-14th position. He would be much better off in Wsbk because he will never be at the sharp end of MotoGP.
You must have quite a selective memory, he never battled him for the title but they had numerous battles on track. And it's no coincidence that a minimum weight was introduced after Marquez had left moto2............. And what do you know, they scrapped the rookie rule for MotoGP at the same time. Nobody can deny Marquez is talented but he has had the scales tipped in his favour at every opportunity.

MotoGP » Redding ‘more confident’ after time away from paddock

Mysticmeg: Do people on here believe if redding was on a repsol he would be winning races,or on the podium, no chance im afraid,. (Tho he should do,marqez done it easy),maybe the guy just cant ride a gp bike well enough,to take it up to the next level required, marquez is the only guy to come from moto 2 to win in motogp, doin ok in moto 2 means fk all really when it comes to throwing and pushing a 1000cc honda on the limit, and more around like a toy,rea can ride a 1000 cc ok, get him on it.people on here gush at all the talent in the lower classes moto2, 3, and for some reason think that they are just gonna be like marquez, well they are not ! That kid is a one off.and age matters not that much,if your good your good !
Let's not forget that Marquez is the only 1 to jump straight on to a factory bike with a team which has a seemingly limitless budget.
