WRC » Ogier: I'm not afraid to run first in Portugal

Tell me about it, I knew early on in his career like many others that he was destined to be the next Loeb. This is not good news for the WRC, as well as that he's only early on in his career. Look what damage Loeb did to the WRC winning almost every rally (I dont blame him personally) it is not great for the manufacturers who would like to be able to win the very odd race at a minimum. With Latvala becoming fast and consistent it looks like we may not see any other team win a rally this year, apart from the odd occasion perhaps.

WRC » New Peugeot 208 T16 to make debut in Italy

Dafydd, Would that be because m sport is motivated by the need to build and sell cars to keep the money coming in (understandable since they probably don't have the backing like citroen etc)?? Perhaps these companies want some more exposure so now they realise it would be good for them to have their cars out on the stages in numbers, like the Fords. If only I won the lotto I know what I would be spending the money on!!

WRC » Hirvonen: We can definitely fight for top places this year

The thing is he used to be top class several years ago right up until he broke his string of strong finishes in Jordan I think it was. Ever since it has been hit and miss which is disappointing for someone that came so close to beating Loeb in the championship on several occasions. Hopefully he can improve as it will be good to see vw be given some opposition. I reckon the Citroen team and top brass bosses aren't impressed with the current performances, hopefully they won't throw in the towel after so many good years with Loeb
