F1 » FOM extends pit lane clampdown

Here here if you think about it it is the mishaps that occur in F1 that are the most exciting spectacles at a GP. For example witnessing exploding tyres and spinning Massas at Silverstone was the highlight of my weekend. The way things are going the future of F1 looks very boring indeed. I think banning journalists from the pits is a step too far, they need to be in the mix.

F1 » Hamilton to reappear on Top Gear

The thing is the track will always be different to an extent ie due to recent weather conditions and so on, as will the car be different ie fuel atmospheric pressure etc. These are very slight differences but would make a big difference IMO when F1 drivers are comparing times, therefore I reckon the only fair way is back to back laps by the two!
