MotoGP » Bridgestone insists tyres 'well suited'

Yet another group of bikes with premature tire wear. Fits one style of bike and rider. BS tires are junk on street bikes, always have been. Starting to think that they are the same in MotoGP. First thing you do if you buy a bike with BS tires is break in the bike with them and before you try to ride the bike hard, put decent tires on it. And of course they say they are just fine and are confused when a big percentage of them come back shredded and dangerous.

MotoGP » New challenge for Marquez, Pedrosa

Brain: Everyone seems to forget that Marquez dominated Moto2 on what many in the paddock says was an inferior bike. The Honda is a very good bike, but Marquez is the difference. He would win just the same on a Yamaha, which is very good bike as well.
The difference is that in Moto2 there were not the same caliber of riders. And lets face it, the engines were identical.

MotoGP » Kevin Schwantz: Suzuki should race now!

AussieNSW: I will say this I respect every racer that got on a GP bike and raced including Schwantz but guys he was gifted a WC when Rainey crashed if I remember right it took him the rest of the season to make up the points thats how far rainey was in front and if I remember right he walked out on his team the following year, yes I repect him as a rider but he was never in Raineys class as a matter of fact I would put him a few rungs below Rainey, its only my opinion but I would say he was average at best, but I will say this he has done a great job in getting GP racing to Texas so credit to him for that.
I beg to differ. I watched Schawntz and Rainey race through the AMA Superbike and on more equal bikes Schwantz would just destroy Rainey. The problem with Schwantz is he would throw it away and Rainey kept a cool head and brought home the points. I was there at Sears Point when Schwantz won the race and waited at the finish line to see if Rainey came in 6th or

MotoGP » PICS: Jorge Lorenzo’s jump start

What surprises me is that more people didn't jump the gun. You see someone moving and you get a trigger. Shows how focused they are. But talk about a way to disrupt that concentration. Also surprising is Lorenzo usually has a very cool head about his riding, smooth, consistent, and very focused, but that seemed to just disappear.
