MotoGP » Lorenzo: ‘Dream’ test, but ‘competition doesn’t sleep’

Apparently his mid 1 59 lap was set on the harder tyre which makes it the all more impressive and ominous for rest of field. You really have to wonder if Michelin hadn't withdrawn soft from their allocation, would he have breached sub 1 59? Rossi in his own words admitted he could drop his lap by few tenths but not breach sub 2 00 barrier. Sepang is one of the tracks where gaps are not that big and 1 second difference to his teammate is huge. For sake of entertainment, lets hope rest of field catches up because at the moment Lorenzo is leagues ahead of them.

MotoGP » Pedrosa 'super happy' with season turnaround

He should be super happy as it was a very very impressive turnaround from Aragon, he clearly has the pace to run at the front fighting for victories and probably would've won today if his pass at Turn 1 would've stuck. There is a reason why Honda keep re-signing him. Dani has gained a lot of support in last few months and let's hope it pushes him to be more aggressive next year and can finally fight for championship till end. Roll on 2016!

MotoGP » Rossi: Yamaha ‘bit more in trouble’ with Michelin

LDNeye: It's almost impossible for Rossi to get some motivations back, after the whole Marquez story.
Sorry but I disagree, imo it has given him all the motivation he needs to continue for as long as his body allows him to be fast and of course Yamaha comply with a competitive machinery. The more he'll think about the events, the more regret he'll have over the way he's gone about this affair. I remember Rossi's attitude after losing two years in a row in 06 and 07, there were a lot of hissy fits but in his own words he 'learned to lose', he cultivated all of those losses and anger to come back stronger. 2015 season was not the final chapter, just another one in what has been an illustrious career so far and it's not finished.. yet.

MotoGP » Casey Stoner to test for Ducati?

A chance for Ducati to put things right and finally listen to the man who looked capable on that thing, good to see few years in the doldrums have knocked some sense into them. On Stoner, I have no doubt on a competitive machinery it'll take him just few hours on the bike before he's fighting for victories and pole positions. People's memory seem to be blurred by his off track persona, he was a seriously talented rider. But, I still think it's wishful thinking to see him back racing full time. Stranger things have happened though.

MotoGP » Rossi blasts Marquez after MotoGP title defeat

The table never lies and in the end if it shows Lorenzo on more points, then he deserves it. Rossi does have a point when he says Marquez wrecked his championship in last few races but a lot of it was done by Rossi himself. I always thought calling Marquez out in Sepang was stupid and Rossi has paid the price for it and how. How else did he think Marquez was going to react? He is a petulant rider and was only going to give it worse to Rossi. Instead of pinning the blame on others, Rossi should focus on one thing, that is bringing tires up to temperatures early so he can put better qualifying laps and also start the races better. All this farce from last few weeks shouldn't retract from what has been an unbelievable season from Rossi at 36.

MotoGP » Jorge Lorenzo is 2015 MotoGP champion!

Congrats to Lorenzo, commiserations to Rossi. Unbelievable race from both guys under immense pressure. As respected David Emmett put, Marquez's race isn't going to help matters. He put in a grand total of 1 pass in the entire race, and that was on his team-mate Dani as he passed him on penultimate lap. Pedrosa once again showed superb pace, let's hope he can steer clear of injuries and get that elusive title next season.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi appeals Sepang penalty

This is getting way out of hand, internet and motorcycle forums have been in meltdown since Sunday and this will only drag it further. You accept whatever punishment is given and move on, CAS will do jack about this situation. Rossi has lost the championship due to his brain fart moment last Sunday and he's having difficulty to come to terms with it, the sooner he accepts that, the better it will be for him. It's very very sad to see him in a state like this.
