MotoGP » Lorenzo and Yamaha: One or two years?

@Brain You raise some good points from time to time but let me tell you you're have a disaster on this one. Change is part of the game in GP, if Dorna were that keen on their golden goose, Ducati-Rossi marriage wouldn't have failed that spectacularly. Also if you look at the times, Yamaha have improved the times they posted on last year's M1. Only rider who is having lot of problems with these new tires is JLo, rest have improved. I just don't know how difficult its for few people to grasp that Rossi has improved, there is no need to go all CSI for reasoning.

F1 » Hamilton disappointed at lost Rosberg battle

Mechanical failures are part of racing and it just had happened to be with Rosberg's car on Sunday. There is constant talk about Hamilton's 'slow' pit stop. Who is to be blamed there? Its his own crew's fault and if anything they should work on it during practice. I don't understand all these conspiracy theories, there is no need to read between the lines on everything. Suddenly a lot of Hamilton fans are coming to the fore after being quiet for most of last month. No matter how you paint Hamilton's victory, his cause was helped by Rosberg's mechanical failure. You can talk all about the edge he has over him is in his 'talent' but he hasn't been able to get better of Rosberg since the momentum shifted in his favor. It's also funny to say there needs to another Rosberg DNF so that they are level. I don't think so, in montreal both drivers had identical issues. One was able to drive around it and bring him home.

MotoGP » Assen MotoGP - Race Results

Chaos! Absolute chaos this race.. But Marquez is still won, I wonder if there is anyone who can beat him... Doesn't look like it. Rossi got his strategy absolutely wrong with slicks and lost lot of time as a result. Fifth is not bad considering he didn't lose any place in the championship. Lorenzo, I'm lost for words. Top rides by Dovi and Broc Parkes!

MotoGP » Lorenzo: The bike is nervous

I wish people would give their reasoning before coming up with 'bike is tailored to suit Valentino'. Who exactly told you that? Is it because Rossi has been getting better of JLo this year? The current M1 is a result of input of Rossi AND Lorenzo, how do you know they inclined to Rossi input more? The only change this season has been that Bridgestone's new compound is not favoring JLo and Rossi has stepped up his game. No need to go all CSI. It also puts the assumption Rossi is No 1 to bed. They favored the new chassis to JLo and Rossi got it 4 weeks later only after JLo discarded it and this weekend they favored new parts to JLo over Rossi. It's clear who Yamaha have their money riding on.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: The bike is nervous

@Knownothing Of course, you need to back it up if you're making up a bold claim like that. The changes in the bike be it modification or new parts are made according to the input of riders. 'Factory squad' is there to make it easy for the factory to introduce changes to the bike because their opinion is very unlikely to differ. If you're saying the bike is being tailored around 1 rider over the other, it renders the whole point of 'factory squad' moot. It has been mentioned in here that Valentino is now the No. 1 at Yamaha when everything has been contrary to that, first when it came to chassis and now the exhaust. Rossi himself said Yamaha favor JLo. There is no concept or anything 'mind boggling', its a clear scenario.
