MotoGP » MotoGP Argentina - Race Results

I'm lost for words, not enough superlatives to put it into context what he's doing at this age. His race pace was out of this world. Laying down Circuit Lap Record with 5 laps to go, are you kidding me? Coming to Marquez, he has to learn to accept being second best at times for sake of championship. Can't believe how hot he ran on brakes at the end of back straight. Just close the gas and take 20 points. Very curious to see if the relationship between him and Rossi will turn little fiesty. Finally, congrats to Cal for his first Honda podium.

MotoGP » Rossi: I hope this contract isn't my last

Brain: I predicted a Yamaha win at Qatar, and i predicted a Marquez domination at Cota. Its going about how i figured it would go. I predict another Marquez win this weekend.
As if predicting a Marquez win takes cojones? Whom are you trying to bs here. You predicted Lorenzo would take the Qatar win and also said Rossi's last year was more of an exception rather than norm. I quote 'Rossi will be battling Dovi, Ianonne, Pedrosa and Cruychlow more this year than Marquez and Lorenzo.' You can obviously contribute to the discussion well in other threads but your posts in the Rossi thread are tiresome and reek of agenda. We get it, you don't like the guy so move on.

MotoGP » Rossi 'focused and prepared' for Argentina

Very curious how this one will play out. Interesting point about everyone opting for harder tire last year which are not available to Ducati but Iannone showed some decent pace. For Rossi, minimum aim should be podium but win would lay down a marker. I remember he ran wide a couple of times last year but his pace was steady and quick. Still needs to improve though as Marquez had almost three tenths per lap on everyone. Hoping for a close and safe battle this Sunday!

MotoGP » Dovi prevented 'perfect weekend' for Rossi

The steam is building fast for him to challenge for 10th crown but I just hope the enormous expectations ease off a bit. People are constantly talking how Europe will mean Rossi will fare better but in the very same Europe last season, Marquez wiped the floor with the entire field. Plus, there is Ducati who have built a fantastic base for their bike and it's working everywhere. Lorenzo is no mug too, he's been beaten by his teammate for last 2 races and you can bet he's also waiting for Europe because his record there is fantastic too. So, competition is tougher than ever before and I believe Yamaha have to improve for him to have a shot at victory at all tracks. Just enjoy the races one by one before building up this huge expectation for Rossi to take his 10th crown.

MotoGP » MotoGP Qatar - Race Results

Great GP, an all Italian podium after 2006! Once the dust settles down there is plenty to work on. Yamaha have to greatly work on their top end, this new seamless gearbox seems to have taken some power from the engine, you had Lorenzo and Rossi huff and puff to 330 while Dovizioso and Iannone were blasting 350 on straights easily. It reminded of Stoner blasting past Rossi in Qatar and Shanghai in 2007! Honda are matching Ducati as well, Marc belted out flat 350.2kph! Yamaha have to get the balance right and I can't believe you naive people are writing off Honda and Marc after ONE race. They are still the team to beat and Austin will prove that.

MotoGP » Vintage Rossi outwits Ducati for Qatar glory

What a GP, my god what a race! I'm shaking! This is what racing was all about. Breathtaking stuff from Rossi. That last lap was a master stroke, just magical! Whoever had any doubts about Ducati in race, it's been completely silenced. They are here to stay, here to compete. Congrats to Dovi and especially Iannone for his first podium to make it an all Italian podium!
