MotoGP » Dovizioso keeps new Ducati fastest - with wings!

Surely it's better to have more bikes fighting for front places for us GP fans? Don't understand all the whining about their concessions. It was well known to every manufacturer what the advantages were of going open. They opted against it while Ducati didn't so deal with it. Having said that, even though Ducati's pace is seriously impressive I'm not sure what they'll do over a race distance. Yamaha and Honda have a long history of getting everything dialed in by race day so Ducati need to keep improving. Roll on March 29!

MotoGP » Ducati fired-up after leading final test

Brace yourself for more moaning and whining till 29th March because chances are Ducati will top all the sessions prior to that. Remember they haven't loaded the soft front yet? Even though it's somewhat quiet amongst the paddock for now, I expect it to boil up if Ducati wipe the floor at the other tracks with their softies. Having said that, there is still a huge question mark how they'll do over a race distance. Yamaha and Honda may not be able to match them outright over a lap but their consistency is something I'd guess Ducati are still striving for. It's an exciting time for fans with gaps so close so enjoy the show instead of whining.

RFS131: Rossi and Lorenzo must be wondering what they'd be able to do with that Honda
I doubt they are giving it a thought, only yesterday you had Lorenzo come out and say how it's the best Yamaha he's ever ridden and Rossi was all praise too on Day 1. It just goes on to show that if Yamaha make one step, Honda make one and a half. It must suck a little bit for both of them as they both made their fastest ever lap around Sepang and are still 6 tenths off Marquez.
