MotoGP » Valentino Rossi 'very worried' after 'negative' test

I think VR will stay in 2013 if he can get podiums in 2012, its our love of motorcycles no? Inevitably Without the knowledge, skill &manpower, Ducati will pull out of MotoGP citing financial reasons. Wthout doing their homework, People will once again blame Rossi's salary. 2014 WSBK awaits the arrival of the yellow 46. Wouldn't you want to TRY win every title?

fighting to move to midpack or backmarker teams. It takes years to develop a bike &then still years perfecting it. Last years Ducati was limited in the way it could be setup in so much as engine position/flex. Its changed now, doesn't mean its better. TIME. Time that VR doesn't have. Gone are the days of a boutique outfit winning championships let alone being competitive. Bimota anyone? KTM in WSBK? They might be good, but to be the best you need money, knowledge and man power. If they change the rules to single sided swingarms, you can bet the Honda/Yamaha will have multiple versions to test way before Ducati has one. Its obvious who has a better chance of getting it right. Will VR win a race in 2012? Maybe. I don't know. But given half a chance you know he can and will go for the win by ANY means necessary. A Championship? No. Not with Ducati. This is after all racing not ballet. There is no mercy. Finally the inevitable speculation. I think VR will stay in 2013 if he can get p

As a massive Rossi supporter and racer I have to say that a lot posts are closer to the truth than the obvious "war of words" that goes on between different "fan clubs". Though there's still some sewerage floating around. Straight to the point. No excuses. Stoner would out qualify Rossi 7/10 times on the same bike. For 1 off blistering pace,CS is f###ing quick. For overall racecraft/race pace, VR is better. Rossi has been fighting to stay on top longer than any other multiple champion. 2010 barring injury would have been tough to stay champion. 2009 might have been the peak. 2010 &first serious injury. So late in his career &it hurt, coupled wth the situation at Yamaha. It DID dent confidence. We VR fans wont/dont admit that. As a multiple world champ, past your peak, no matter how talented you are, you WILL NoT ride a bike the way someone who needs to prove themself will. The more you win, the older you get the less risk you will take. FACT of human nature. You don't see racers
