Rossi may be a better rider than Hayden, but if that is even the case, it is very very marginal. That has been made clear by the last 2 seasons. So to even think about comparing him to Stoner is very laughable. Posted by Luigi42 Ouch. Well done mate. You have just shown your complete lack of motoGP knowledge. Better change your name again. motoGP...transparent for some...OMG...muddy waters for the rest of us.

As @Ausrossi has clearly stated there is more contact between cars. Maybe Stoner sees more oppertunities to whinge. Hes going to need a rocket ship though. Just like 2007 Aaannnnddd 2011. There are class drivers who could not secure overseas rides because of sponsorship problems in the V8 championship. Stoner may be in for a little surprise. Still he is a fast learner...at some things.

Both Australians but totally different. One's a fighter and one's a quitter. One has 5 championships in 11 years but do not consider himself the GOAT. The other one has a measly 2 championships in 13 years but considers himself the GOAT. Doohan revels hard racing, while the other wants a time trial instead. Doohan earned respect, Stoner despite his pleading for some, will never have it. Posted by Track Day And thats the main reason why Stoner quit motoGP. And towards the end he revealed himself to be a hypocrite. Bautista is the case in point. The best at overtaking down the straights and thats about it. Choker when real pressure is applied. Case in point dropping it chasing the robot. Pleasure to see though.

Great rider. No doubt about that. And those Hondas he rode? Rocket ships. Each and every one. While others caught up through the turns Doohan just waited and blew them away down the straights. A very loyal Honda man. Scary eh? But on those ODD occassions when the Honda was fast in the corners...not often...it was goodbye. But to be fair to Mick. He did have consistancy and his bike control was very immpressive. A delight to see him coming out of the corners. But. The world is bigger than Honda Mick. Sorry but it had to be said.

You're not only good enough to be a MotoGP champion, but also good enough to be the champion of our hearts. Posted by True Champ 2012 You must be kidding. And very touching to... Such loyalty and words from the heart is very scary. There is a positive about the internet. Not seeing other posters face to face. I dont feel sorry for a guy who has had a sucessful career in bikes and cirtainly not sorry for Repsol. Get caught in the back markers and things tend to happen. At least we got to see some thrills and spills for once.
