MotoGP » Espargaro: Open ECU means podium sliding away

The best example of how motor sport has changed is the Ferrari flagships. F40....about the driver. Press the pedal and "the dogs of war" will rip your head off if you get it wrong. LaFerrari...about the car and can be driven to work over speed bumps etc and the driver can release "the dogs of war" with an electronic leash. Great car for the rich girls... Those that don´t know what real driving is will say that the LaFerrari is the best Ferrari of all time. Those who know otherwise know that prize goes to the F40... Times have changed....

MotoGP » Front row first target for 'pretty fast' Rossi

Rossi may score the odd win this year but in order to do more he has to qualify better in order to avoid the guys trying to prove themselves in mid pack. Last qualifying was good but he needs to aim for the front row now. Lets hope Yamaha can give him the package to do the business. I don't mind seeing MM win but it would be so much better seeing him fight for it like Qatar. Can Yamaha do it? It´s anyone´s guess but I hope so because Dani cannot match MM. Anyway in the past Dani never really gave us nail biting performances to watch like MM, VR and JL. Personally I am interested to see if JL has another brain explosion at the start. It appears to me as though the motogp audience wants close racing and are not to patient waiting for it to happen. I am referring to the ill informed masses not people like us who have followed motogp for many years. I watched the 2000 Phillip Island race the other day. I miss those races when many were battling for the wins. And I have lost count of how many times I have watched the 2008 lugana Seca race. motogp seems to be like getting the cake but not being able to eat it. It smells great but... Our only chance now is for Yamaha to put VR and JL where they belong, battling with the Honda of MM.

MotoGP » Marquez wary of weather, rivals heading to Le Mans

BJR: "Natural Talent" became a near non-issue in this sport a long time ago when these guys starting hopping on bikes at 3 years of age. Nobody with superior natural talent is going to step up at 15-16 years of age and hold a candle to any rider that already has 10 years under their belt by that age. You're looking at the "most talented" of those with the "most opportunity". Honda have a good bike and a good rider that is capable of winning WC's (which Honda wants) and is Spanish (which Repsol wants) and can make Dorna money (which Dorna wants). There was no way on this green Earth that Dorna was going to let another Aussie dominate (and bore the Europeans to death) for five straight seasons on a Repsol Honda..... They've been there, seen that and there's no money in it.
Pity though. It was fun pointing the finger at Stoner. I guess we will have to settle for pointing the finger at JL. Can´t wait to see how JL goes at the start. (lol)

MotoGP » Marquez wary of weather, rivals heading to Le Mans

marcfan: I think its time for another winner here in le mans. I am a marc marquez fan but i think its time for another winner. I think vale could be perfect.
If Vale did win would he be then be known as "The man who beat Marquez"? He could make a career out of it like Tony Elias. LOL
Didn't Vale beat MM at Qatar 2013 for the 2nd place?. If any disagrees, would you please let me know why. As I thought that was the very first battle between the Two of them and Rossi did came on top for the podium position.
Ahhh, that was MM´s 1st race on a motogp bike. Do I need to elaborate? Hope not.

You are 50% right. All the natural talent in the world won´t help a rider once the mind games start. What the best of the best have to have is natural talent and a autistic mind which is not side tracked by emotions. Almost all of the successfull sportsmen and businessmen have this trait. Without this they wouldn't be able to sleep at night. Schumacher is Autistic as is Bill Gates. The downside is that in private life they are about as interesting as a rock and have no sense of humor. One of the few exceptions is VR. They also need lots of sex and need to be constantly reminded of how intelligent they are. But don´t take my word for it, if you are brave enough do the research yourself.

MotoGP » Rossi to Marquez: Four wins is enough!

alterego: lol ... how can you hate that dude.
Quite easy. The ones that hate Rossi don´t like that Rossi doesn't fit the stereotype of what they perceive a motogp rider to be like. A tall (relatively speaking) thin joker without the handsome look that said haters have in their mind. When I think of Rossi I think of his post race 125cc lap with a blow up girl with him on the bike... Don´t see JL, DP or CS in that picture. Although I have heard that DP is a joker away from the cameras. If you believe that then here is some ice I can sell to you Mr.Eskimo.
