BSB » Anthony West considering BSB

There are literally dozens of riders who are either without a ride or operating on a "getting by" ride, it's so sad. They are being cheated by the lack of serious opportunities, but worse yet the sport and the fans are being cheated out of being able to see some great competition. Seeing the Texas Tornado 6 seconds off the pace in MotoGP sends the message home loud and clear. The last thing the factories really want is to have more riders capable of challenging their chosen few. When is World Moto Clash going to launch. No equipment rules, big money and one class? Come on guys, let's fill the void!

F1 » Berger: With Newey, Red Bull will keep winning

In my mind, Vettel is slightly faster in qualifying and on the opening laps, then I see things evening out over race distance. Herr Berger is right though, since Adrian Newey, and as very appropriately mentioned, his team give a little edge. It is probably even the edge that gives Vettel the edge in the early part of the race. What I find interesting is the thought of some of Adrian's team being poached and brought to Ferrari, McLaren or Mercedes. That could be very interesting. What would be more interesting would be for Adrian to get his own team, perhaps with Michael as his partner.javascript:insertTextCursor('comment',%20':)')

MotoGP » Josh Hayes 'facing a huge challenge' at Valencia MotoGP

I wouldn't really think of his bike as a production bike since the Suzuki competitors were going 205 in the speed traps at Daytona this year. Yes the tires, brakes and electronics are different, but believe me Josh is talented and a real racer. Anyone who saw the battle with Tommy Hayden at Laguna Seca will know that. Just look at his pirate, skull and cross bones helmet and you know he's no shrinking violet. For me he will be one of the most interesting stories of the weekend.

MotoGP » Colin Edwards gives injury update, will miss Valencia

Colin is one of the real stars of MotoGP, not necessarily because of championships, of course he won 2 World SBK Championships and against some stout competition, but more so because he epitomizes what a true racer is meant to be. It's ironic that Marco was much the same way. Watching the video of the crash we see both Colin and Valentino looking right around the corner, there is no way they could have avoided contact with the 58 as it went on its crazy course. May God bless both Marco and Colin and everyone else for that matter.

F1 » Jordan: New Jersey race 'huge' for F1

Eddie is right. We have a thing here called Madison Avenue which on balance controls advertising in the US. Since many of the NYers don't drive, they have been funding mostly stick and ball sports, with the exception of NASCAR. This will give US advertisers a new view of Formula 1 and in fact all motorsports a lift. Another plus is that New Jersey is actually one of the richest states in the country, if not the richest, and that might be important to Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren.

WSBK » Laverty talks first Aprilia impressions

As an Aprilia fan...this looks promising. I'm not sure why Leon never really got on with the bike, but Eugene might just be the key. Now, let's see if Max fights or folds. I'm still not convinced that Eugene will get the same stuff as Max. Aprilia has always been funny about those things. It may not matter since Eugene seems to be better at setting up the bike from the get-go. Now for the big problem. Carlos on the Ducati. They are going to be very, very tough next year.
