MotoGP » POLL: Was Simoncelli penalty fair?

Yes the penalty was correct. This cray Italian has been crashing into other riders for years, so a penalty was long overdue. Many will not agree with this statement but.... MotoGP is not a contact sport. All riders have a responsibility not to crash into each other. Sics overtake on Pedrosa was rediculous, it was always going to end up with a crash. What we should be asking is if Sics pass was unfair then why did Rossi not get a penalty at Jerez. It's time for race direction to get tough with this type of riding. In particularly Rossi who is the chief culprit. Has anyone noted that it's Rossi that has significantly benefited from this and the Jerez incident. Anyone else notice a Rossi bias.

MotoGP » PICS: Pedrosa, Simoncelli Le Mans clash

Pedrosa stood the bike up so its Dani's fault someone posted. Of course he stood the bike up, what else could he do. Sic just rode straight across Dani's corner. For the carnage this mad Italian has caused over the years he should be given a race ban. This aggressive riding is just cheating. I said on another other post MotoGP is a non contact sport. You may not like what I say but its in the rule book.

Some are still saying that Honda have moved forward and all that Ducati must do is give Rossi a better bike. Rossi and Burgess was hired to do just that. You Rossi fans told us he and Burgess were development gods. That the Yamaha transformation was down to them. Well I'm still trying to see that spark of genius from them. God knows they are being paid enough to deliver a faster bike not a slower bike.

Anyone suggesting that Ducati are playing a long game with Rossi are seriously mistaken. They are paying a fortune to Rossi to deliver the championship this year and every year he is with them. With Stoner on the Ducati we all expected him to be challenging for victories and more time than not he did. So when the best rider and best engineer in the world arrived in Bologna what de we get. A pair of overrated chumps that no longer can call upon an army of brilliant engineers and supporting test riders to give them an unfair advantage. It's hilarious. Who said that Rossi's ambition out wieghed his talent?

F1 » New York merchant bank joins News Corp F1 bid

Gentelmen. As I have said previously this is all great news for F1. The new owners of F1 will be fantastic for the sport. They want to own it and to make it better. The current owners CVC are venture capatilists. They treat F1 as a comodity. To be bought and sold and to make a profit. Sure the new owners will want to make a profit but they will make benificial investments for the good of the sport.

Why is everyone on Rossi's case. I'll tell you why. He and engineer Burgess are earning a fortune from Ducati to a) use their development skills to create the fastest bike on the grid. and b) by being the best rider on the grid win some races. The results so far are that the Ducatis are way of the pace and Rossi can't match the young guns for skill and pace. Ducati will be fully justified in dumping Rossi and Burgess at the end of the season. Meanwhile like me just enjoy the fun of Rossi being whipped every race. Not only is it enjoyable to watch its hilarious.

MotoGP » Stoner, Rossi hostilities continue

This is not how it should end for Rossi. He could have retired on top. Loved by the fans and admired by the riders. In other words an untouchable motogp god. Just like Agostini. But he decided to carry on regardless of failing talents. He is now beaten every weekend. Fewer fans support him and many riders loath him. It's all quite sad and was totally unavoidable.
