F1 » Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton penalised

The stewards were 100% correct to award Lewis a penalty for weaving. Weaving (blocking) really started with Senna who apart from his greatness as a driver was a total cheat out on the track. A bit like Schumi and now Hamilton. Blocking robs us of overtaking and the spectacle of a faster driver making his way to the front. The thing I don't undertstand is why it is allowed to block once. If it is a bad thing ban blocking completely.

MotoGP » Abu Dhabi MotoGP - 2012 or 2013?

Europe hase more than enough races and should loose some races in favour of the rest of the world. Racing has always and will always follow the money and if that money comes from the middle east or asia then that is where it will go. Someone in earlier posts had a go at tax dodging money grabbing expats. My answer to that is you should have worked harder at school and got some qualifications. There is no merit living in a bankrupt country and paying high amounts of tax. That really is stupid. Much better to be paying £25 to fill up your 4x4. Remind me how much is petrol in the UK now? Finally the guys in the UAE are real petrol heads, the Abu Dhabi MotoGP will be like the F1 a sell out.

MotoGP » Abu Dhabi MotoGP - 2012 or 2013?

mr Asia, Did you know that Abu Dhabi per capita is the richest country on planet earth? Did you know that Abu Dhabi now earns more revenue from non oil related business. Abu Dhabi going bankrupt? About as much chance as you making a sensible comment. RawDawg - MotoGP only requires large run offs on bends and sections that bikes may be leant over and the Yas circuit has that. Run offs on straight sections are not a requirement. The sart / finish straight at last weeks circuit of Jerez has no run off whatsover.

What foolish ignorant comments. I have been to the last two F1's at Abu Dhabi. Brilliant circuit. Great facilities. All grandstands have amazing views. 100% sell outs with 50,000 fans all seated. Free concerts, Beyonce, Prince, AeroSmith. Wonderful parties. Start saving now for what will be the ultimate MotoGP. Stay on Yas Island for a full on MotoGP weekend or travel in from the party capital of Dubai.

MotoGP » FIM launches review after Rossi-Stoner incident

A racing incident caused by Rossi and Stoner scores zero points. I recall Rossi asking for race direction to take action against Toni Elias for similar type riding in years gone by. Rossi was correct then. There must be penalty for this type of incident. If a rider gains an unfair advantage by their actions then race direction must step in and impose a a sanction. Which could be black flag, ride thru or grid demotion at next race.
