MotoGP » Rossi: I’ll have to grit my teeth at Jerez

Re ....You keep feedin urself this tripe an get ready for when VR starts kickin butt again. And when in your dreams do you predict this may happen? There is nothing so sad to behold than an old pantomine dame who no longer can remeber her lines. It's a bit like watching poor old Valentino wobble around the the track. He knows he must go round and round but can't remember why!

MotoGP » Bautista undergoes second surgery on femur

Something is wrong with top level bike racing today. Far too many riders are suffering serious injury in todays racing. As tracks have become safer (no trees, big run of areas etc) the level of crash related injuries just keeps on increasing. I have no solutions but know that this level of attrition is unacceptable. Importantly TV companies will walk away from motorcycle sport if they are faced with broadcasting a sport where young riders are getting seriously hurt.

F1 » Stewart: Tilke tracks to blame for lack of passing

DreadUK - To take your argument further. Consider the current status. Engine power is normalised across all teams. Engine development is banned. All cars use the same tyres. The current car design regulations are so prescriptive that all teams basically run the same aero packages. If any team does some thing slightly different the others catch up within a matter of weeks. So I ask the same questions again. 1) If one car has no speed / braking advantage over another car how can an overtake be possible? 2) How can track design help virtually identical cars overtake each other?

F1 » Ecclestone hints at summer Bahrain race

Too hot during the summer could be top C40's. Who would want to travel to the middle east on holiday during the summer. Looks difficult to do it at the end of season which ends in Brazil on the 27 November. Perhaps Bernies next suggestion is a Christmas day race. Lets face it the only reason they are calling this a postponed race is so they don't have to pay out on tickets sold. But that position is surely not sustainable.

F1 » Stewart: Tilke tracks to blame for lack of passing

Track design has very little to do with the lack of overtaking in F1. It's become fashionable to slate new track design and blame it for all the problems in F1. Answer these questions... which tracks produce any more overtaking? Silverstone er no, Catalunya er no, Monza er no. Why is that the offending new circuits provide exciting racing with lots of overtaking in other classes of racing? The top 10 F1 cars lap within a couple of tenths of each other. Tell me how you can overtake with no significant speed advantage. Mosely was right. Stewart is a half wit.
