MotoGP » Marquez: Great overtakes, I enjoyed it a lot

Yearby23 "This is the exact thing Dorna want fans to sound like... I'm a fan of the sport and most of the riders competing but Dorna know Rossi is towards the end of his career so they've been plugging Marquez as 'the next Rossi' for the past few years so that when Rossi does eventually move on, all the diehard Rossi fans will become diehard Marquez fans...." The only problem with your theory is that most "diehard" Rossi fans are not fans of HRC. Also, HRCs political pull on the rules/regs have killed the chances of less financially viable companies/manufacturers from being able to compete. Bring on 2016 & the "Spec" ECU/software!!

MotoGP » Marquez: Great overtakes, I enjoyed it a lot

I'm a "diehard" Rossi fan, and also love to watch MM in real time & at 2500 fps!! I do hope, when he's bored of dominating, he'll pull a Rossi & test his prowess on another make. He truly idolizes Rossi & you can see it in the press conferences when Vale is speaking, as well as just loving bashing fairings in the heat of battle, just like Vale! I think he knows that eventually, many will argue his premiere class records are down to HRCs finding 2-wheeled perfection. I feel this jump is preordained. Also, I'd love to see Pedro on the M1 next year!

MotoGP » 'Big disaster' averted, Rossi ready to fight

HuskyMick, Should you not be saying, Rossi get on the top step and win ? I'm sure thats what he would like. I'm sure a 9 times world champ would only be racing for a win not just a podium. Vale, a 9 times Champion, is smarter than just about any other racer in the field. He knows MM is near to impossible to beat. Finishing as the best of the rest is what Vale is focused on. Only MM can cause a non-win for himself, unfortunate as it is. Big time #46 fan here, so I do believe.

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez could spend his career at Honda

As much as I dislike HRCs considerations regarding the bike/rider success formula, I feel if Vale had stayed with them all these years, he'd have easily eclipsed Ago's premiere class record. Furusawa, Burgess & Vale made the M1 the race winning/podium contender it is today. Had there been no move to Yamaha, I'd bet the HRC advantage today would be even more lopsided. Thanks Vale for keeping MotoGP interesting!!
