MOTOGP » Rossi: Stoner 'started to hate me' after Laguna 2008

Too many posts to remember who stated what exactly, but basically it's Stoner who ruined Ducati in GP. His awkward and erratic style masked the true state of disaster the bike was really in. They would've come up with something solid 4-5 years ago, or packed up by now & gone home. Also, it's true that Vale has been embroiled in more battles than any other rider in the past 10-15 years. The only ones I can think of that Casey was involved in also involved Vale. Glad Vale is back on a bike he can provide some real entertainment on! Marquez will also be way more exciting to watch than Casey ever was I'm pretty sure. Next season will be the best since 2005/2006!!

MOTOGP » Pirro: Ducati test role better than CRT option

As stated earlier, "He must be getting paid rather well...", I agree. Especially since they no longer have to pay such a hefty salary to unarguably the best rider who ever raced, who is currently still lining up on the grid. I'm a Vale fan & feel his pay was justified. Just look at some of the football/baseball/basketball contracts that are made. These multimillion $ contracts are usually based on performances made in college level events prior to proving themselves. Rossi has won in the big leagues 7x, or even 9x if you'd like to be picky. Anyways, Ducati gained $$$ in sales having had him on board & now they're paying peanuts. They have plenty of cash & even more tools at their disposal now with Audi. Hope they improve, for the sake of the class.

Let's hope the Honda "Production Racer" is more competitive than the Aprilia CRT bikes, as well as Yamaha going forward with M1 engine leases. Of course these machines most likely will never see a "W", but perhaps with the right rider/machine/team combination, upset podiums maybe? Anyways, test piloting an Italian prototype def seems more attractive to my eyes than running around at the back of the pack on a hobbled SBK platform.

MOTOGP » Vote for your 2012 MotoGP Rider of the Year

It's hard to be any more impressed with a rider like Jorge, as he's clearly the most consistent rider in the class. Discounting this, I'd say Dani had the greatest season of his premiere class career, followed closely by Dovi. Amazing how many times #4 put the satellite M1 on the box, when in recent years it's been a rarity. Espargaro def impressed & I'd like to see him on a prototype in '14.
