MotoGP » Yamaha boss tips Rossi to take on Lorenzo, Pedrosa

With Jorge's consistency and Vale's now that he's back on Japanese machinery, I'd bet the manufacturers & team championships are a viable prediction. Manufacturers may be more of an unknown with Dani, Marc, Bradl and Bautista representing HRC. Bautista & Smith's performances will be the deciding factor there. Smith's looking pretty good, given all the skepticism.

MotoGP » PICS: Jorge Lorenzo’s 2013 Yamaha livery

Too right Lance! Been a Rossi fan since 4-strokes, when I started watching GP. Used to be a hater of the golden boy, since my friend was biased against him back then. After the Welkom race in '04, my mind was made up on his greatness. Jorge is a worthy GP torch bearer for when Vale decides to spend his golden years in SBK. Marc may be Jorge's main rival for the foreseeable future.

MotoGP » POLL: 2013 Yamaha MotoGP livery - Hot or Not?

I voted "Hot", since there's no vote for "So, So". I do think it's a clean looking design tho, for 2 polished riders. A large "M" on the side fairing where the FIAT used to be would've been cool. Also, I thought Ducati's bikes would've looked nicer if they'd went with more red, like in '10, when Casey & Nick were there. A deeper red, not so bright red. Too much white currently.

MotoGP » PICS: Jorge Lorenzo’s 2013 Yamaha livery

Jorge is the rightful WC, now about to face his toughest challenge yet with Dani, Marc & Vale all looking good. I'm just hoping the friendship being displayed between him & Rossi doesn't sour too quickly and the team continues to develop the bike. I like how Jorge's using his #99 this year. It's understandable using the #1 once accomplishing the ultimate goal, but now it's legacy building time. Best of luck to them all!!

MotoGP » Austin MotoGP test times - Thursday (Final)

I must admit, I've been lured into the post battles between Rossi & Stoner fans in the past, but now I find myself regretting it. Casey was not the flamboyant personality, but a straight-talking, fast as heck racer! This was the Doohan way, and it seems to be the Aussie way as well (Bayliss, Gobert). Easily the fastest rider when he had the bike he wanted. Vale's fans are very passionate, and Casey's are equally as passionate. This is why the wars were waged. I truly believe that had Casey been here, he'd have continued to be amongst the top 3 at most tracks. We still might have a 5-way battle with Bradl showing glimpses of podium potential this year.
