MotoGP » Mugello: Podium target at least for Rossi

The M1 being a little down on power doesn't help. Dani continuing on with his form from last season's end doesn't help. Marc DEFINITELY doesn't help with his being a prodigy. Plus, Jorge is the team's #1, but that probably doesn't negatively affect Vale's machinery. I'm not ignorant, with wins looking hard to come by, but maybe 9 isn't such a bad number. Been a fan for the last 7 and I'll be watching as long as he willing to provide exciting battles, wherever they're happening.

MotoGP » Mugello: Podium target at least for Rossi

It's tiresome having to read though a lot of the negative comments towards the very person who ushered in the modern 4-stroke era of GP. When I first heard of him, he was this guy my buddy hated, simply because he was winning all the time. I kinda wanted his seemingly endless streak to whither myself early on, but then I saw and felt the effect he has on the crowd the way he battles. The way he seemed to enjoy riding in close quarters, pressuring from 2nd until the last lap/corner to make the move. I truly believe he's still as capable of pulling podiums, but he's been on a roller coaster ride for the past few years and is only becoming older/wiser, and that's something that will happen to us all.

MotoGP » Jerez MotoGP test times - Monday (Final)

On equal machinery, I believe Vale is still a notch above riders like Dovi, Cal, Bradl & Bautista, who've all seemingly peaked already. However, his broken leg in '10, followed by the rough time he had at Ducati have him feeling very human. I just hope he can make the podium on a regular basis and stay in the top four in points through his contract term. He doesn't have to win to be exciting to watch! Qatar proved that.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: We can be very fast at Jerez

It's pretty hard to discredit a rider who gets a good start, maintains their pace and pulls off the win, but I do find those types of race finishes a little less exciting than those where battles are fought. Vale has proven dozens of times that he is the most eager & capable battle seasoned rider currently in the paddock. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't been watching. His moves may be controversial at times, but he doesn't have the ability to let an opportunity to pass go by if there's any chance it'll stick!

MotoGP » Puig reacts to Schwantz’s Pedrosa comments

I don't like the term "legend", esp when used as a noun. Here's the definition: Noun A traditional story sometimes popularly regarded as historical but unauthenticated. Adjective Very well known: "his speed was legend". Synonyms fable - story - tale - inscription - myth. The key being "historical", but "not authenticated". Folks opinions are like a$$holes, & often times they stink. Lol!
