MotoGP » Austin MotoGP: Lorenzo explains Honda gains

It's nice to be patriotic and I'm American, but they went a little overboard with the 'ol red, white & blue paint scheme. Have any riders been interviewed and stated any confusion as to where the racing surface was? Pol Esp seemed really pi$$ed about something in FP2! But back to the point of the article topic, I think qualifying will be another interesting time where Jorge's going to prove himself once again. If Marc starts the race out in front, I think the pressure will see him crack somehow. It's a long race.

This track is clearly a "pick the bike up & shoot out of the corner" style track. Being primarily designed for F1 doesn't lend itself to ideal GP bike racing, or Jorge's high corner speed style. Still, it's a beautiful venue which could only be improved by getting rid of some of the paint outside the edges of the track. It's got to be distracting for the riders.

MotoGP » Rossi: Welkom '04 more special, Marquez 'better than me!'

MM may someday be considered "as good" or "better than" Vale, but his personality is certainly different. I don't mean in a bad way either. There's just only one Vale, and there will never be another. The 125s are gone. The 250s are gone. The 500s are gone. All those post race antics he put on for us! I'll be an old man in a nursing home someday & go on & on & on about this flamboyant Italian who was godlike on 2-wheeled machines that ran on gas and how he fed on the energy his fans heaped upon him! One thing's for sure, the sport needs guys like MM, Vale & J-Lo!!

MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP: Espargaro salutes CRT progress

I'm guessing the Honda "Production Racer" will be similar to the Aprilia ART bikes. Why would anyone buy one? With a leased M1 engine tucked nicely into a Kalex or Suter chassis, one might think they'd stand a much better chance in challenging the 4 Ducati riders at the very least. It almost seems like the big Japanese four, along with Ducati should follow Aprilia's lead by producing bikes just shy of the current prototypes, but also slightly more unique than a BSB spec superbike. I like the ART bikes. They seem like they'd take it to the WSBK bikes fairly well. Anyone?
