MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made me lose the championship

MM mistake was picking a fight with the heavyweight champion of on-track battles. If MM was a little more intelligent, he could've either backed off of Vale a half lap earlier and let him go on to finish 3rd in peace, or discretely taken 3rd himself. He obviously let JL past, especially considering the pace MM demonstrated in QP. MM intentions were very plain to see in this race, much, much more so than in PI. Vale is not innocent in his maneuver, but MM is the culprit. Never wish for a rider to have misfortune, but let's see what happens in 2 weeks. JL is a smug little $0B, wanting the title here and now on a silver platter, gifted by Spanish Race Direction. Oh, & 99 passing under the yellow flag incident should be looked at, possibly including repercussions. Thx

MotoGP » Rossi: Great race, great shame, no regrets

If Iannone didn't have the extra fuel, which means being able to run with more power and maybe slightly taller gearing for the straight, maybe Vale would've seen another podium. I kept waiting for IA's tires to go off. But anyways, JLo really dispelled the notion he can't battle. Both MM and IA really made the Yamaha boys sweat! IA is def CRAZY! What a race! This title chase will be decided in Valencia.

MotoGP » MotoGP Australia - Race Results

Best battle of the year from the front group by far! Iannone and his team put together the perfect bike. What a wildman!!! & that last lap from Marquez might be the best lap ever seen! Vale did everything he could, so I'm sure he's not too disappointed with how it all went, holding on with a small points gap. Excellent race!! Excellent!

MotoGP » Lorenzo, Rossi title battle ‘starts from zero’

The difference between Rossi and Lorenzo is that Lorenzo, or Marc for that matter, will never risk leaving their respective factories as long as they're provided a winning package. Nobody will ever replicate Rossi's feat of back to back wins on different makes. It was a big risk. Its just one of the reasons all the other riders know they are in the presence of the GOAT. FYI, I'm also a fan of both Jorge and Marc. Jorge's performance today was ominous. Just wish there was some action to digest.
