MotoGP » Nicky Hayden made a MotoGP Legend

To become a Legend, you must first defeat a Legend. This he accomplished in 2006. Also, have any other SBK Champions ever won a premiere class MotoGP title? No. Folks will argue winning the AMA title has little meaning, but I point out that no WSBK Champions have been able to even come close. A little bummed about his choice to ride the too long in the tooth CBR next year though. I'd like to have thought Ducati would've been happy to oblige. Oh well, maybe someday!

MotoGP » Repsol slams Rossi for ‘unacceptable conduct’

Totally understand Vale's plight. MM had no problem with letting JL past. Didn't give a sniff. Then MM drops a second over the next lap, falling back to Vale & all of a sudden he's like a swarm of bees all over Vale, chopping off his front wheel and running him wide. F Repsol & HRC. They've been the biggest bullies and manipulators of the series since the 90's. Makes me a little ashamed to own a Honda actually.

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made me lose the championship

What's plain to see is after reading hundreds of comments, both pro-Rossi & anti-Rossi, is that HE IS the biggest draw on the series. The Spanish infused race direction have really shot themselves in the foot on this one! For a moment I thought to myself and dreaded the slight possibility that Vale would get fed up with this penalty decision, that he'd quit. That would be VERY BAD for everybody! I'm thinking next year will bring title #10. JL will be lost on the Michelins & MM is too mercurial, as some others have stated , to show consistency. Go Vale!!

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made me lose the championship

MM mistake was picking a fight with the heavyweight champion of on-track battles. If MM was a little more intelligent, he could've either backed off of Vale a half lap earlier and let him go on to finish 3rd in peace, or discretely taken 3rd himself. He obviously let JL past, especially considering the pace MM demonstrated in QP. MM intentions were very plain to see in this race, much, much more so than in PI. Vale is not innocent in his maneuver, but MM is the culprit. Never wish for a rider to have misfortune, but let's see what happens in 2 weeks. JL is a smug little $0B, wanting the title here and now on a silver platter, gifted by Spanish Race Direction. Oh, & 99 passing under the yellow flag incident should be looked at, possibly including repercussions. Thx
