MotoGP » MotoGP Star of the Year vote: 2nd

Kinda some truth in that Marc winning the title the first time out was more astounding than his successfully defending it. I say this as a genuine fan of 93, but think, without Vale, has any other rider put together back to back titles on a team other than Repsol? In recent history, I can't come up with one. This only demonstrates how truly awesome HRC/Repsol is at development of racing bikes, as well as how truly amazing Vale is. A run of 5, 3 with HRC factory, then 2 different back-to-backs with Yamaha. Gaps in between for Yamaha make it even more incredible! If the M1 shows proper competitiveness with the RC this next season from the get go, I can see Vale further cementing his already stellar rep, by beating his team mate in the standings and hounding the latest young stars. The GOAT is Vale, no doubt about it.

MotoGP » Suzuki will consider expanding MotoGP effort

Factories should each have a single-rider "Factory" team, supported by 2 separate single-rider "satellite" teams. 3 machines per manufacturer. Big $ spent of the factory effort & reasonable lease rates on satellite machines with steady trickle-down development parts. Would reduce the cost of running for the satellite teams. What do we have coming up in '15, 5 manufacturers? That would be 15 bikes. If we get BMW, KTM & bring Kawasaki back, that would be 24 bikes & none of these "OPEN" class grid fillers. All prototype machinery. Just a wild idea.

MotoGP » Nicky Hayden: Turning the page

Edited my prior post, as I kinda contradicted myself a bit. Lol. My ultimate opinion is that HRC screwed my countryman Nick. Ever since then, I've been a Yamaha fan. Also, Marc will never gain more respect than Vale by keeping with the Daddy Warbucks Repsol/HRC, with their puppet strings pulling on the regs. Just my honest opinion. Also, sick of that damn Repsol paint scheme, decade after decade. Loved the Go!! M1, Camel M1, FIAT M1 & now Movistar. How's about a white/ghost Repsol like you sometimes see on the CBR600RR?

MotoGP » POLL: Best looking 2014 MotoGP bike?

LCR all the way. Repsol need to do something more radical, maybe a white/grey ghost ensemble like they used on the street bikes. Yamaha Factory have prob been the only factory team to change it up once in a while (GO!!!!!!!, Camel, FIAT, Etc...), so the Movistar was a nice looking package. Ducati being Italian, I have no issue with the same red theme. After all, everyone loves a red Ferrari, right? Monster Energy, black bikes for me hide the lines, creases and shape. Plus T3's design is plain & unoriginal. All opinions of course.
