MotoGP » Austin MotoGP, COTA - Race Results

Could this last decision to run 2013 spec rubber be just a small part of an elaborate plot by DORNA to make Jorge's transition to HRC a forgone conclusion? After all, what would be a greater soap operatic drama than to have the best riders on the planet go head to head on the same machinery. Last we saw that was when Vale & Jorge were together on the 800cc M1. During '08-'09, I'd say the M1 was the machine to have. With Vale possibly hanging up his leathers in a couple years, there will be the need for a new draw on the series. Just a thought there.

MotoGP » PICS: Jorge Lorenzo’s jump start

I want to reiterate on my previous comment by mentioning that the pressure Jorge is under comes not only from the amazing force the HRC/Marquez combination poses, but also the fact that he's up against the new Bridgestones. His style is so specific, that he's prob got the toughest job of any of the top contenders in adapting his style to this new spec. Hate to say it, as he's become a rider that I've grown to respect immensely, but this year isn't looking to good for him, or Yamaha in general. I hope I'm wrong.
